My own plan of making good use of these skull turrets, is to dock one or two at each pillar of this octagonal station I designed in SketchUp years ago:

Here's an early WIP look at how I ended up using it.
This has certainly been one of the more challenging projects but I'm pretty happy with how its looking so far.

The ship itself is great, a fantastic design executed splendidly. One of the most artlike starmade builds I've seen. Certainly would want to inspect it ingame once finished
