      I like the idea of asset based influence. But i think it would work better based off the credit value of an entity rather than mass. That prevents spamming cheep heavy blocks, and also reduces the impact of planets. Carved minerals would become worthwhile as a decorative building material as well.

      That logic is a bit flawed. If you can find a place to hide your base then someone else can find it too. Especially if they're looking for a place to hide their base. The only way to make it reliably likely to remain hidden is to build it in single player, or go so far out you might as well have.

      Check in the options menu in game. There should be a check-box that will prevent you from scrolling to a new bar unless you hold Ctrl.

      I like this idea as far as missile lock and hiding the signature on the HUD (like jammers), but i don't think it should make the ship immune to active scanners. As well as what Ixalite said about a boot up delay to prevent abuse during combat, or cloak-less ambushes.

      When aligned to or in the gravity of a rail docked ship bumping into a block at certain angles seems to cause you to exit gravity/alignment. Especially noticeable when bumping into the corner of a block.

      I agree. We definitely need a more direct means of entity/camera switching. Due to how gravity logic works, we know that activation blocks can identify the initiating player. It hopefully wouldn't be to hard to translate this over to cameras the way you suggest here.

      About the only way that's certain to work is to cut and paste your ship one piece at a time. Though it has been said that there will be an official tool for this at a later date.
