Recognized Make ship's weapons not go through the ship

You wouldn't even have to rebuild. You'd have to move 2 blocks and at best it ruins your current aesthetics. That is literally all that would happen.

      Shields and turrets

What happens if there are recharges on the turret? How well will that sync in terms of recharging the shield when there are hundreds of turrets? What happens if a missile hits your turret bank? If they share shields, would the damage to shields be multiplied? While a missile hitting nearby...

      Seeking Information: Anti-missile turrets

I was under the impression that all outputs have a different hit chance. I could probably test this with Ra's tribarrel punch cannons, see what kinds of mark it makes. Edit; Unfortunately, it seems as thought the inaccuracy is due to the AI choosing an inaccurate place to shoot at to start...

      Recognized Pirate 'Scaling'

I wasn't talking about procedural pirate ships that got bigger. It would be the same as it is now, using "Wave Strength" to spawn pirates from blueprints, just how it decides on what the wave strength would be will change, depending on allied stations in that sector. The Dynamic comes from the...

      Docked ship direction

Pretty much what Wolfe said, it isn't possible in the game as of yet. You can however play with chain docking to get him pointed in the right direction. Docking a ship sideways, then docking a ship to the side of the already docked ship facing down will result in the end ship pointing forwards...

      Seeking Information: Anti-missile turrets

AI is really simple, it fires everything it can at 1 target. Whether it is a 2block group of cannon+cannon, or a massive arrange of nukes, if it decides to target a drone, that drone is taking it all. So 1 turret with 3 computers will fire all 3 at 1 target.

      Recognized Pirate 'Scaling'

What I more or less suggested (and likely poorly worded) was a mass based 'tiering' for raider waves. I know we are getting the HP system sometime, which will require you to kill X% of the ship in order to overheat it I assume (or something like that). In order for that to work, the ship would...

      Shields and turrets

Why does it matter that starmade wants to do something different? Different can be good, it's a new experience. Starmade, unlike "most other games" doesn't have a HP system yet, and even when it does, it would work differently than "most other games". Should we protest that as well? Other games...

      Recognized Pirate 'Scaling'

It's just something I threw up there because if you have 3 variants of the same ship, and 5 of them spawned, I imagine it wouldn't be fun if they were all the one with the highest alpha (I'm not even sure if the game can check for that, nor the other stats really, just mass). Idea was to remove...

Will the missile blast radius through shields bug ever be fixed?

How does that work? I know mean is suppose to just set the AI accuracy to 1000, but if you put in 200, would it overwrite? Scale? Also, the only missile that goes at 100% server speed are swarm missiles (well, 99%), Nukes go at 49.5% by default, Rapid fire+default are 198.% and Missile+beam is...

      Recognized Pirate 'Scaling'

Because why not. From what I've been told, PvE is suppose to work (in the future) along the lines of pirate strength (wave strength technically) increasing the further you get from the center of a galaxy. Which is stupid and almost painfully simple. It would almost replace ore mining with...

      More Config File Options

These 2 are in the blockbehaviourconfig, and I don't believe there is a way to simplify the way weapons are configured. All the values listed are important, but maybe making a small 3rd party where you can put in the values you want can help to figure out what you want to change. The other 2...

Recognized Make ship's weapons not go through the ship

Weapons point forwards 9 times out of 10, and a majority of people do put them up front act as a buffer (power regen, jumpdrive, thrusters, and shield regen are all more important when losing blocks). When you flank a ship, they can't fire their forward guns back until they turn around, which is...

      Seeking Information: Anti-missile turrets

One advantage of AI is that it fires all computers at once, regardless of whether it is in range. Dividing the guns up among 2 computers on a turret would more than half the power cost of firing. With 11 outputs, +100% on each group, and you have 11 groups, so ~+1100% in all, but changing the...

Pirate ships should be scrap as well

Harvesting a ship, basically picking off the still working parts of a dead pirate, versus magically obtaining loot and/or credits deposited directly into your inventory. Not every server uses Shops, and even if you ignore that, having to fly back to them to get anything is a massive waste of...

      Picking up loot clouds

If the ship used the cargo system (only named storage crates, which can be accessed from the core) to deposit items, you can pull items from that storage and sort into other storage crates. Could work that way and no one will throw a 'shift'fest.

      Faction points and capital ships

Ragnarok is a RP server, blueprints are heavily moderated by the admins. Factions can gain blueprint slots by owning stations (note how I said factions, not players), this gives incentive for players to build beyond the single invincible homebase, and more stations and sectors to protect...

      Shields and turrets

I can't say I've ever really heard of anyone doing that, since you are wasting space with tanks. The DPS is also lower compared to other weapons, with the only advantage being the large radius, though a rapid fire missile could prove just as, if not more effective I would think. But that is...

      Shields and turrets

That becomes quite hilarious when big ships equip what could be called a "machine gun" and slowly eat ships. In starmade, weapons are linear, unlike in real life, where you can pack a lot of power into a single use item. If you scale up a weapon to the point where it would be considered a "bomb"...
