      It used to be a problem somewhat, only fairly large ships ever got close to that when everything was Buy-with-credits (it's buy-with-Blocks now).       AI for turrets and ships not working

      I know you need to set Turrets to Type "Turret". Try creating a core, selecting it with F and using /start_ship_ai -1, and seeing if the turrets react. Make sure the sector is not protected though, since AI doesn't seem to work in those sectors.

      Pirates can do anything involving weapons more or less, they can't activate unbound effects or Jam though. They just shoot whatever is linked to the core. The only problem with giving them strong ships is they might be too rare xD

      Glowstains are the unwanted effect glowing objects have on other nearby blocks (or it is now, I call dibs on the term). The basis of the game is allow unrestricted combinations, meaning no weapons will ever be flat out "not good against X"...

      Except UEF was an old and retired (at the time) faction within Starmade. Problems come from when they come back and try to use their name, trademark aint got nothing to do with it. Sued part was probably just a joke, but the name was used.

      The planned capital ship system was to allow factories and other station-based systems to be placable on ships if I'm remembering right (with a trade off of a small amount of max speed). If my memory is right, factions should be able to regenerate asteroids in a system by using faction points...
