      I'm not talking about homebases, and trust me, my turrets are huge, self supplying badass motherf***rs. But what use have big turrets when they aren't hitting the target, because it's jammed ? If the only solution is to hide in homebases, starmade's galaxies will stay empty boring places.

      That would be overpowered I think. I haven't mentioned the shield recharge because I'm not sure how much an adjustment would affect the balance. It is limited by the energy recharge and cap, but I think without the "in fight"-penalty a station could get to fast almost invulnerable.

      The point defence turrets have no chance against this missiles. If both, the shooting ship and the target, would stand still, maybe the turrets could take down the missiles. But if both are moving it seems to be impossible because the missiles are flying different paths in all possible angles.

      That's how my weapon modules work, very effective :) But I wouldn't use this system without an enable switch on ships to prevent friendly fire. This is perfect as an additional auto defence system on stations. In the past I triggered the heat seeker when a big turret got lost.

If you have a base which could trun 360° and a barrel which could also turn 360° and than place this trurret on a ship but not on the surface but sinked in as far as possible. But i would let them only recharge when docked to something and when undocked they drain their power permanently, no matter if the power is needed.
