I believe this is the correct file, then (I had to zip it since the browser kept claiming it was too large).

you are running on 32 bit!
    is your OS 32 bit ? ...
if not either use the new launcher in 64 bit version -> Launcher public beta!
or update your java manually to latest version in 32 bit and 64 bit -> Java Downloads for All Operating Systems

HorribleHedgehog thank you for the logs. You have 32 bit java installed, and it's being used to run the game. Because of that, memory is very limited.

Either first uninstall that one and install java x64 from Java SE Runtime Environment 8 - Downloads

or use the new launcher which comes with java, so no java install is necessary.

My OS should be 64-bit, so I guess that explains it. Many thanks, update time ahoy!

MacThule .. that logfile crashes in mid air without an error being logged. :/ ... are there two zips being created in the starmade folder ?
I'll try to reinstall shortly and see if that fixes it. I have no indication as to what is causing it, but I do import/export BPs fairly regularly and maybe it's being caused by a problem with the blueprints.

Asteroids are barren now in terms of resources.

I found a 94k mass asteroid (almost 4m blocks) and tried to mine that. I was able to get 76.4k mattise and 77.3k jisper out of 3.6m blocks of tekt. (Mining bonus 8x with system claimed.)

Also when I was mining, my frames dropped to practically 0 every time the mining beams made contact to the asteroid. The miner I was using has over 100k salvage modules in groups of 100.

None of this was in SP btw, this was in the LvD server.

You'll need to tell the your computer to use the 970m instead of the integrated intel card. I was able to do this in the Nvidia control panel. You must add what version you are using to run the game to the list. You'll then need to change it to use your "High Performance GPU"

There is a strange lighting quirk with the sunlight. The further away you get from a ship, the brighter it gets. It's a sort of yellow glow. Wasn't there before, and really ruins things

GIFV to point it out. [doublepost=1470164472,1470164184][/doublepost]Found a spot that really points it out

Update's great! The game runs about five times faster on planets (after being loaded of-course, but it isn't very slow even then) and the gamma setting is something I really like, too. :)

    Nice work, Schine!

Found the same. My own miner dropped me to 1fps (from about 80) and shot my ping up to about 2000. Game is chewing connection as well. Everything feels laggy too regardless of FPS and whatever setting tweaks I do.

Same here, I'm also getting massive lag, "running out of memory" -messages and crashes if I try to do anything too taxing. :(

Me too. I'm running Win7 Pro x64 on and i7 with 4GB RAM though. Plus my video card is an old NVIDIA GeFroce GTX 480. :-(

Do I need any special memory config? I tried a few combos without success.

Lone_Puppy assign 3072 max memory and 1024 - 256 to the other two values. If you cant run the game after that you have 32 bit java in use ... you have to install 64 bit java in that case then
