    Nice! Any estimated release / how is the current progress on the carrier and a defense station?
    they are nearly done but I'm actually working on a project by from someone else right now so they are on hold. if you read some of the older campaign posts here then you will get a hint of the actual progress

    Right now the only ship that can drop ember drop pods is the Pele. Thankfully i just released a new version of it that has logic incorporated in it that will auto open and close the pled doors of the launching bay. in the future i may release a version that has a auto launching mechanism so you can have a proper drop.

    the Campaigns have really got me sketching again. I've made some character sketches of the various characters at Crimson Corp

    As a fellow graphic artist, thats some pretty cool stuff. Loving your ships mate, but I'm having some issues with the Pele refit. It seems that the turrets don't agree with the ship right now, and are blasting themselves and the mother vessel to pieces. Normally the ship can take on a substantially larger foe without much issues, but the turrets tend to fire on the ship while trying to get at the enemy. I've run a temporary fix, by jetisoning all standarized turrets and changing them out for Hydra and fury missile batteries that use lock-ons, which fire outwards before aquiring their target and homing in. This seems to work well, as I can fly the ship in combat maneuvers, and focus all of the ships turret firepower on a single target. Makes incredibly short work of pirate stations, but I wish it could do more with the other weapons systems. Dunno if theres an overall fix for this, to force the turrets to keep from firing or what not when the ship is blocking the firing arc.

    when i was doing the refit of the pele i did not combat test the turrets and was completely unaware of this bug. in retrospect it was probably a good idea as the prototype would have been heavily damaged but i was umber the impression that the bullets of the turrets would just harmlessly collide with the hull of the mothership rather than destroy it. so again I'm terribly sorry you experienced this.

    btw thanks for the watch on deviantart :)

    i've noticed the slow speed of the propeller drive. i had to change the circuit that it used slightly in order to make it more stable. the recent update caused the faster circuit i was using to break after only a few seconds.

    the overall slow speed of the cruse control may have to do with the relative underpowered thrust of the push defensive effect. I've noted this to people and i hope that in the future this gets buffed since as a defensive effect its completely outclasses by normal thrusters. as it stands now it has no reason to exist.

    until furth'a notis, I shall be conducting the catalog updates. As at the moment I'm the only qualified person to speak aboot thees ships. I've had mah hands in all ov um anyways!

    Today we we hav a litt'al project the Crimson-Artist had bin work'n on before he vanished. Its a new kind of Turret th'at functions like a separate cannon.

    Something of a experiment done while back. With the recent Schemadyne software update it could finally be realized. The Sentinel is the first of a new kind of turret, One that supplements your ships forward cannons.

    Designed to turn any docking port into a extra damage output. The Sentinel packs 3 Assault grade Shredder Arrays as well as a new kind of Cannon. Smart Cannons use Target lock missile technology to seek out its targets. They also use Armor-Piercing Warheads to give an extra punch.

    The Fury Turret was just the beginning. New research on improving the tech behind it has created the Dragoon. A Autocannon, the Dragoon is designed to supplement your ships natural weapons with Target-lock missiles.

    We've included a shot of the first weapons test on a target using hardened hulls. As you can see a single volley of missiles using Armor-Piercing warheads can absolutely wreck the toughest of defenses.

    While we have used Pulse technology to augment the power of other weapons, never once before has it been used on its own offensively. Through extensive testing a Powerful new weapons has been invented. We call it the "Boom Lance". The Nusku was designed to utilize this new type of weapon while also employing more conventional ways of combat.

    Some new design choices have made the Nusku the first Asymmetrical Ship we make. Standard assortment of weapons have been installed. Target-lock missiles and Cutter beams can easily cut down targets. Most of the space has been devoted to the Boom Lance. A Powerful melee weapon that requires pilots to ram its tip into a target and firing. The small but powerful aura of the pulse will vaporize anything it touches. The Shredder arrays have use Anti-Gravity rounds to hold targets in place as the Lance works best on stationary targets. To increase defensive capabilities of the ship, a Radar Jammer has been installed as well as powerful Cluster Missiles to keep enemies away.

    With the recent market influx of rare gems and heavy metals we've developed a new planetary drill. To deliver this small but effective machine to its target, namely large celestial bodies, we built a ship around it. Enter the Pickaxe, a fast small scale driller that can be dropped from orbit.

    To accommodate the powerful new drill much of the space has been devoted to its reactors rather than its defensive systems. The only weapon system on board is some debris breaker cannons. while the idea to automate the process with logic had been proposed, Without a new software update from Schemadyne mining operations will have to be maned.

    Its felt like a lifetime since I last did one of these catalog updates. A lot seems to have happened in my absence.

    Rest assured, This time I'm here to stay and will pick up the pieces.

    Its been a very busy Lunar Phase but we've been hard at work at some new projects as well as the return of a fan favorite.

    Enforcer Class Autocannon




    [Designed to be incompatible with Turret Docking units. Dock to a normal Docking port]

    Boom Lance technology has improved 10 fold after the implementation of the auto trigger. The Enforcer was designed to turn a front facing docking port into a ship sized bayonet.

    Functionally the Enforcer works just like the boom lance on the Nusku except in a standardized form. Pilots merely have to ram the tip of the enforcer into a target to active the Pulse. Improvements to the auto trigger design have eliminated the double trigger reset apparent in the Nusku allowing for endless easy discharges.

    Constant pirate attacks have prompted us to develop a small but effective maintenance craft. The Paean packs an entire repair crew into one cost effective package. It was also made to fit within our standardized SPV docks.

    The Paean comes equipped with a host of support systems. A powerful Astrotech beam is capable of making small and fast repairs. It also comes with a duel transfer system to help jump start ships that have both Power and Shield Outages. Along with the support system the Paean has minor defense systems. Twin Debris Destroyer Cannons can open up a sizable hole in targets while a cutter beam can slice open select spots. In emergency situations, We've also installed a Radar Jammer and EMP bursts to elude any attackers.

    The return of a classic with new more powerful Systems. The Manticore has been a long time coming but after a long time in development we've finally brought it back. Get ready to Planetary Combat once again.

    The Manticore has undergone a massive redesign. A new Tank Base had to be made to accommodate the changes in technology since it was first released. Twin Shredder arrays with Sledgehammer rounds installed allow the driver to attack along with the turret. A powerful Durga Cannon makes up the Primary armament on the Manticore along with small Shredder arrays to keep up the damage. When things get too heated we've installed a Radar Jammer in the base. The Manticore also features limited flight capabilities but dropship support is highly recommended.

    Based on a unused and untested prototype, the Chimera was a originally intended to be a companion to the Manticore. But was put on the side as it did not meet our standards. Now with new tech we've revived it with an all new Design.

    Utilizing the new Standard Tank Base much of the work was centered around the turret. Duel Target-lock Missiles punctuate the Damage output while quad Photon beams pierce the gaps in the flak. Has proven to be a excellent choice for planetary defense as the missiles help swat down incoming enemy ships.


    Thats all we have for now. More on repairs to the shipyard need to be done before we can work on bigger projects
