      that's actually a good idea. Totally possible that there is a desync happening between the shield bubble and the ship's blocks. So the server "thinks" for a moment that those blocks that take damage aren't inside the bubble.

      i can confirm that negative intergrity causes it, yes (tested it). However, there seems to be something weird going on beyond this. I don't know how to reproduce it yet. It seems to happen randomly, but sometimes even ships with positive integrity on all the systems seem to take block damae...

      could very likely be the case, yes. im gonna check on FRU, i think they use the same ship for the NPCs. Edit: Checked it... on Freaks R Us the pirates spawn with shields down (but they do recharge). The armor HP, however, is also 0%... o.O this is so weird

      On Brierie server there are some awesome power 2.0 NPC pirate ships that OmegaGame built. But unfortunatly there is a problem. The AI ships seem to always spawn with 0% shields (they don't even start charging) and 0% armor HP.

      the reactor power chamber isnt that good imo. Iirc it gives you 10% additional e/s, but since chambers' size is between 25% and 50% of your reactor's sze, you better add another 10% blocks to the reactor itself and some stabilzers and you'd still end up with less than 25-50% more blocks.

      Benevolent27 : I just tested it with a mate. Ships don't need to have the same reactor size or bigger to scan a cloaked/jammed ship. My friend was able to see the nav marker of my 44k mass ship with a tiny ~25 mass scout :)

      Unfortunatly covering everything in hull doesnt help. My mate's ship has its front completely covered in armor/hull - that's where my beams hit his ship. Still the beams ignored the shields and directly dealt system/armor damage.
