Try to crash the game with that problem again in singleplayer!
then go to Stamade/logs and upload the log.txt.0 file (that should be the newest one!) here for someone to take a look!
the 32 bit problem i think i have read somewhere in relation with windows 8 !
thats why i suggested to entirely remove your Java installation and only reinstall the 64bit variant (see link in last post)
also you might want to increase the memory allocation under Options-> Memory settings in the...

Are you realy sure your OS runs at 64bit ?
then -> Uninstall whatever Java is installed and then make a new installation of only the 64 Bit Version!

Within the Starmade folder is a folder named Logs there are the log files. Take the one with the newest time stamp.
And the desktop might not be the best place to put the game .. if possible change the install path to a hardrive partition that is not possibly under any protection by the Windows OS.
You build it in 0171 from a new placed core ?
We couldnt find out when it started to happen ! It is reported as seen first in 01703 and my new collector and sorting ship is affected too.
That is why the bug got High priority ... it spans a release Version and cant´be recovered from
Yes ... it i s an known problem!
Something with Meta data missing on the Ship (orwhatever) entity.
At the moment the only workaround seems to be to build your ship anew from scrap .. or wait for a fix (thats what i do!)

Place the Launcher in a place that is not protected by the System in any way. On a different partition within its own Starmade...
Your pastbin is private ... just saying if that is of any importance to identify the problem!

the last log.0 file from the log folder in the starmade folder and a bit more info about your hardware and software setup may help too!

What is your OS. Where is the Starmade starter and the game files installed to? Are you sure it runs at 64bit if that is available?
You could supply the latest Log.x file from your lof folder inside the Starmade folder
This is intended to prevent the overwrite and corruption of blueprints.
That was a bug that got fixed.
You will have to add numbers to the ships name and count up (for example)
Is it also crashing in Singleplayer ?
Try to reset the client cache under Tools in the starter
You may try to make a clean install in a new folder first with the V14 launcher (in the downloads on the page here)
If that still crashes maybe supply the Log.0 from the logs folder of that new...
Now that you are mentioning it .. i also have not a firing sound on missiles ... may have to check that further tomorrow
Cannons loose loadness very fast if you are not that clos to the firing weapon though!
Maybe a problem with some settings there that you are already to far away to here any...
