      Booster thrusters

They recorded that? O.o Hehehe, ya, so can someone throw a link up?? I think it addresses most everything in this thread

Potential Problems for Future Weapon Update

Zooming and Spotting are really the same (either you or an ally is in veiw of an enemy ship, whether physically or projected veiw via optics, the game would treat it the same) I honestly dont know if this is possible, the big issue i see is the need to load all entitys along the path of the...

New Principles to how my ship moves

Yay for original warp drive designs! Everyone likes to default to Star Trek naccelles, its great to see a different interpretation of this style of movement!

      Lightsource in buildmode

Have you tried playing with shadows turned off? i havent tested this lately, but at one point after the shadows were added, turning them off made everything quite well lit.

      Better ship destruction

Just connect floating parts with deactivated plex doors? As for the bugs, welcome to new alpha features... they are riddled with bugs, which will get sorted out in time. Enjoy!

      MORE WEAPONS!

So there have been a few news posts that I think you\'ve missed, you might want to give them a read ;)

      Dave discovers that disintegrators explode

If you set it to draw 200segments, it will draw the closest 200 segments, so there\'s no need for a max distance setting, only 200 will ever be drawn (or whatever you set the max segments too)

      Dave discovers that disintegrators explode

Remember that part where i mentioned where suggestions can be posted?

      Dave discovers that disintegrators explode

Yea, id like a button too, but for now, just have a nearby block you can shoot to start it off ;)

      Dave discovers that disintegrators explode

Careful when randomly shooting things... it turns out that hitting an explosive Disintegrator block can cause it to blow, and even set off a chain reaction with nearby Disintegrators! Schema has also been hard at work addressing many other changes, bugs and conflicts, here is the most recent...

      lua -e 'print("Hello World!")'

Sound will be addressed, but its not the top priority for schema at the moment . I\'m really not sure why the shop sound stopped, sorry. I also look forward to some killer sound effects and music, and it will come in time. Thanks ace, for not getting mad at my little joke above (about it...

      lua -e 'print("Hello World!")'

Id call that a feature ;) I find that shop noise annoying personally. Im not sure if this is a bug, or if it was just turned off.

      lua -e 'print("Hello World!")'

This tends to fall under improving the AI, which as you may have seen with Dave and NPC\'s, Schema has been working on those some as of late. Im not sure when turrets may be tweaked to target other turrets over a mothership, but that may be a setting youd want to have, not a default option.

      lua -e 'print("Hello World!")'

Im pretty sure bug fixing is generally classed as \"useful\" i think what you meant is that we arent instantly dropping tons of content on you and that makes you sad... but the faster content is dropped, the more bugs need to be sorted. So your sort of caught in this catch-22 situation. For...

      lua -e 'print("Hello World!")'

Consider that maybe schema is preparing for other features further down the road?

      lua -e 'print("Hello World!")'

In the weapon update I will have to ask schema to implement lots of changes, including changes to missile behavior. The velocity issue is among those I\'m addressing.

      lua -e 'print("Hello World!")'

Dave can do many things and apparently one of them is understanding Lua. Schema has begun teaching our intrepid astronaut and his crew to follow Lua commands. He has also been hard at work bug fixings, tweaking, preparing, optimizing and generally improving the game. Here is a short list of...

      A way to improve performance

Planets are not movable. They stay locked place and orientation in the sector they occupy. The \"movement\" is a trick schema was using by rotating the sector grid, which had no impact on performance. This is being changed to alleviate navigation issues players have experienced, so now only a...

      Dave and his crew

There is a menu, its in the launcher of the dev version, it came out in tandem with the new texture pack being made default. You can use the 256, or select the 128, or use the cartoon stylised pack Kupu originally made and you can select the texture pack that is currently in the released...

      Dave and his crew

I dont think asking someone to use a dropdown menu to select a lower resolution texture pack is too hard. If they cant handle this, they may find they have a hard time doing many of the things that make this game fun.
