    Update, the launcher will always load world0, so if you want to play a specific world, rename that to world0, and delete/rename the default world0 that is created upon installation,

    Gotta admit this is a great update.
    Good job. ;)

    Would be nice to see some of the frame rate issues fixed soon though, mostly frames tanking out massively from the slightest of combat, and the AI rampantly flooding players when pirate stations are attacked.

    right now it sucks. i think i'm going to use the old menu until the new one develops little further.

    The new world select is currently broken ,you can use an older version of the launcher to reset your current world as default. All your worlds are safe.
    Meh. Like we say in French: Chat échaudé craint l'eau froide, literally "a scalded cat fears cold water" (once bitten, twice shy).
    I would go further and make a back-up for that time because during the development phase, this one has already screwed up one of my worlds and corrupted my game launcher data. So, well, stay still vigilant for this update. Cause even if they had to fix major bugs, we aren't sure it's totally immune of undiscovered one. But maybe it's just an excess of caution due to the bad experience I had twice with this update in the past.

    EDIT : But the menu in itself is sweet.

    to be brutally honest, I kinda hate it :c

    don't get me wrong, YAY, PROPER MENU!

    I love the first screen with the initial options, it feels like a proper game menu, but then the standard UI windows open rather than continuing that theme. It feels a bit mismatched.

    IMO,you should have either continued the theme of the traditional game menu, or opted to make it all based on the UI windows, using something like the pause or spawn menus for the front page :/

    But decorative conduit texture is flipped on the side for all my old/new ships :P

    Some retractable turrets I made for a ship have an error where the AI doesn't function properly since this update.

    As for that issue where you're not able to properly switch SP worlds, we're on it. We'll do a hotfix for that.

    A hotfix was released for this issue, it should be fine now (after you update).

    Any specific issue where we can improve on?
    Maybe it is just my computer but every time i exit a single player universe to main menu, it takes like 3-6 minutes to exit the server and when i try to get back to server, the game just crashes. Also the new menu doesn't allow me to change single player universes.

    Well, whatever other comments there are, I think this is a nice start to make the game startup have a more 'professional' feel. ;)
    With all the planned game mechanics in the pipeline I'm not that bothered with the in-game menu style used when selecting the initial options. I'm sure that will change after all more important gameplay features are implemented.

    As for longer startup times others mentioned, I can't say I've experienced that. Over all it seems the same as before. Exiting the game to desktop is also immediate as before, but, as a single player aficionado, I haven't tried what happens when going back to the main menu yet.

    EDIT: Gave exit to main menu a try, and that's almost instant too. This is in a new world, so I don't know what happens in a more populated world. Creating another world and pressing play in the menu works fine too. One note when you exit to main menu after this this menu were you created the new world in is still open. One would expect it to be closed after pressing play so you would return to an empty main menu. ;)

    All in all, good work again guys, keep them coming. :cool:

    Great work as always !

    This game is going in the right way ! Something like this is missing in todays games.... with every new update, game becomes worse and just full of shit (Ex. War Thunder)... But you guys make the game better and better with every update !

    It'd be nice if we could turn on and off the feature of keeping worlds loaded when going back to the main menu to load a different one. Nice little thing for those of us with junkyard computers. XD

    Worlds are not kept loaded (the single player server shuts down if you go back), only the textures, models etc, stuff you would need for every world, sp and multiplayer.

    Wait, isn't there an f# you can press while holding the same type of block in build mode, allowing you to rotate blocks that've been already placed? Might be worth checking out, dunno which f key it'll be, though. I know it existed in the update introducing rails. :)
