well.. its a sharp looking ship and will make for one menacing force to be reckoned.. with the amount of room for systems it offers..Awesome! Thank you!!! I can't actually get it for a few hours yet because I'm working but I will as soon as I get home!
Yeah I had actually planned to make the arms movable just as they would be if it were real and the little tiny arms in the back function as turrets. i saw that it had some blocks filling empty space between the arms; since you can see the ship in person, do they look like I would be able to cut/paste them out of that?well.. its a sharp looking ship and will make for one menacing force to be reckoned.. with the amount of room for systems it offers..
Oh yeah.. it looks like they are really attached in the picture.. but they really arent except maybe by a few blocks here and there. it wouldn't be too hard to get a copy to make turrets out of them or throw them on rails. but i cant wait to see what you do with it. i hope you keep me updated with this project.Yeah I had actually planned to make the arms movable just as they would be if it were real and the little tiny arms in the back function as turrets. i saw that it had some blocks filling empty space between the arms; since you can see the ship in person, do they look like I would be able to cut/paste them out of that?
Awesome and that's good to know! Thank you so much for importing this by the way! I've seen a picture of one before but that was about 3 years ago and only one which was never seen again.Oh yeah.. it looks like they are really attached in the picture.. but they really arent except maybe by a few blocks here and there. it wouldn't be too hard to get a copy to make turrets out of them or throw them on rails.

I dont always use smedit. I have a USS Vengeance and Enterprise A that i've built from hand. Im just using it now to help some folks get there fav ships in who might otherwise not be able to build such ships on there own or who would simply like to save a lot of time getting the layout right.the klingon ship is the mogh or the mat'ha raptor if i am not mistaken i play STO almost daily so i see these ships on a constant basis

nice Achilles in the background to bad its not the genuine one from bridge commander
Btw awesome work so far, from one trek builder to another (SMedit or not)
i dont have an issue with SMEdit our server uses it constantly for trek ships, plus 100% of us are OCD to the extreme so symmetry is a must, so i understand getting the layout right.I dont always use smedit. I've always liked the battlestar series. I just like the star trek universe more due to it having more ships to import in. One of my rules though is nothing over 1000m as it is too hard to splice back together otherwise. Basically my computer will crash in the attempt.I haven't been able to find any 3d images for these but I did my best I hope you could help me out and upload them even though it look like you mostly concentrate on Star Trek and not Battlestar Galactica

I have procured most of my models straight from games using a program called ninja ripper. From mass effect to elite dangerous to star trek online..etc..etc. As of right now I have over 8000k ship models saved.. I also make my own with 3DS Max.Do you have a source for your models? You seem to have a lot.
could you possibly just make it in 2 pieces and I will try my luck at pasting it back together in single player? you would probably have to split it in front of or behind the flight podsI've always liked the battlestar series. I can just give you the ship whole if you would like. You could either work with it as is or try to get two even halves yourselfcould you possibly just make it in 2 pieces and I will try my luck at pasting it back together in single player? you would probably have to split it in front of or behind the flight pods
