      Simple Discovery/Scouting Missions

Eventually I would like to see the quest system expanded on to include things like tutorial quests (build/craft this etc), mini games (racing, ground combat arena etc) and the like, but exploration (go here) and bounty hunting (take out this ship/station) are a pretty reasonable starting point...

      Gigantism

Field of fire I can agree with, some of the firing arcs are ridiculous, though I don't think firing arc should be too limited. The issue of backpedaling should be fixed by the thrust update, though I suppose there's always the option of setting your capital entirely into maximum reverse thrust...

      ship specialization

Back when stations weren't derelict I used to use a combat salvager, but now I go weaponless as well. Repair ships etc being functional I would love to see. For combat ships I build with the future fleet functionality in mind, and have a mix between long range ships with gunboats to defend them...

As has been said before, Drones aren't the only answer. And the repercussion for larger ships is both the time and resources to make them, which on a server with default settings is pretty huge. You either need a serious workforce to gather materials, or time investment to get one "legit". As...

      Expansion, farming, food and AI.

Different types of food (and buffs) I would definitely be for. Populating planets properly I'm unsure about, that amount of AI running at once is a lot of lag waiting to happen. But yeah, controlling planets needs to be made essential to factions, providing targets for warfare and giving people...

I agree bigger ships shouldn't be invulnerable. Which is why it's a good thing they aren't. Otherwise, yes, you absolutely should be expected to field more people to take out stronger targets. You don't even need to get dozens of players launching thousands of drones. About a quarter of the...

Like Knack said. Although, I wouldn't be against a system to bypass a ships shields (ie the closer you are to a target) assuming the following systems where in place: convenient repair, better turret AI, better AI for support ships like interceptors, a HP and armour system that works well. And...

      AutoPilot

Push drives work decently, you don't even need that many to make a workable system, as long as you aren't in a hurry.

      Expansion, farming, food and AI.

Yeah, size cap per farm on entity is the only way this would work unfortunately. I think having the option to rent NPCs might be handy as well, pay them upfront and get a set time of service. Though for newer players and people getting set up bobby's would be the option until they get a farm up...

Turrets category in the Community Content area

Nah, the whether or not the ships exactly match up to what they're tagged as isn't really that big an issue. If you decide you wanna grab some new pirate fighters, check those tags out and see a 500m long mining ship you'll pretty quickly see it isn't what you're looking for. The categorization...

Pirates I think should be scaled by both what the player is piloting and location I think.

      Expansion, farming, food and AI.

I think we can all agree that encouraging players to hold planets and territory is basically a good thing, and that most of us would like to see a use for planets beyond strip mining. I think the most straightforward way to go about this is farming. The only issue here is what would we actually...

Yeah, I forgot about arrows (though they're also not too hard to keep up on). Back on Starmade, repair etc I am pretty fine with, and using up resources to repair your damaged ships and restock on fighters etc absolutely should be part of the game. The main reason I'm not for fuel as proposed...

      Gigantism

Minecraft isn't just grind and build though, exploration is a very big part of the equation for resource gathering in a way that you can't really replicate in Starmade, just from the nature of how the games work. Minecraft also benefits from simplicity, which makes its survival oriented...

Reconfigure Weapons in Flight Mode (Weapons Menu)

You can already this, go into build mode (or have a second player inside the ship) and just manually reconnect the computers. If you are sensible in the computer placement it takes a couple of seconds at most.

That sounds like an issue of shops having more resources than they should, they as of right now carry more combat orientated stuff than I feel is appropriate. Even as it is now, my current project has over 400k blocks of shield capacitors and it's hardly a titan (not exactly small either I will...

      Brainstorm This New Power Block

Almost definitely grouping with a bigger risk for this I'd say. I'd even be tempted to say that the new power block's don't benefit from shields (or at least take a penalty), so they're even more of a risk to use. Something I would also suggest is to make the new power blocks take into account...

That will definitely help the issue. When I say numbers are the best solution to dealing with bigger ships I don't just mean thousands upon thousands of drones, a well balanced strike fleet can do pretty horrible things to big ships. Shipyards should definitely help with the ease of acquisition...

A docked entity cap would be nice for server options as well.

That's the main reason I'm for optional limits to ship size (server configurable). Have the option of playing on a server that accommodates those people, without stopping those who have better computers from having their titan-related fun.
