      ^That. For slaving purposes I think the base and the barrel should be classed as the same entity. That said, with the HP update on the way I wouldn't be surprised if a change to how shielding works is around the corner.

      Hah, I can sympathise on that one. That said, I was under the impression that in Star Trek the cloaks worked more like radar jammers anyway, with the visual effect being just that. I'm not a huge expert though.

      Honestly, the power hunger is fine. It means if you make a stealth ship you have to specialise, with a ship that in all likelihood won't be able to stand up to similar sized vessels. All I want really want extra is a mainly decorative "armour" that doesn't count for power drain.

      You know what I would love? Place turret/docked entity. Sometimes putting in turrets and other docked ships can take a literal hours.

      If a WW2 destroyer could zip behind a battleship faster then it could turn then maybe you'd be onto something, but other then size scale Starmade ships don't handle like naval vessels at all.       Honestly, what parts get left out could even be down to the player. Would make refitting, and colour swaps much more convenient.

      Storage transfer shouldn't be too hard, it would require the AI entities having an inventory, and them being able to interact with storage blocks. Other than that it's pathfinding really. I don't really see it being implemented until the AI revamp though, which is a way down the line by the look...

      You can use logic to set up your docked entity to undock at a certain point of the rail. You can set up a push pulse/beam/whatever to push the entity away from your ship as it undocks. Bench has some great videos on how to work logic with rails, you should give them a try...

      Fully automated AI salvagers that go off and find asteroids or planets by themselves then dump the stuff in factories with no player supervision I don't really see happening. Imagine if every player on the server had 5 AI miners at hand, all 5 of those going off to mine. That's 5 extra sectors...

      Honestly, I really don't like the idea of ships stats being affected by anything other than what's in the ship systems wise. Larger factions already have the advantage of resources and manpower (at least they should), arbitrarily better ships is really pushing it.

      I'd be for the multiblock cargo on one condition: Being able to access it all from one tab. Being able to designate NPCs to shift the cargo from your ship to your base would be nice as well.
