      You're actually wrong there. You need 5 or 6 ships, coming up to less than half of the mass of the bigger ship, on average.

      This. It's already been said before that mass limits won't be turned on by default. And as already stated numbers win out over size in Starmade. The only issue at the moment as fielding them, but since fleet controls are just around the corner I expect that to be less of an issue.

      Wasn't shooting the idea down, just recommending a stop gap for now. I think having some wouldn't hurt. Could even sneak in a batch with the new factions ships. Something to bare in mind though is none of them will be as effective as what the player base (and potentially you) will make.

      I'd like it if NPCs would manage the factories for you, automatically switching the factories functions to build the correct parts. Mainly just so I could head into a factory and see them at work.

      This. Set up automatic farms. Arrange some NPC controlled delivery runs. Make sure your ship has a galley and enough storage. Never have to worry about it beyond that.

      I would keep salvage beams as they are, for quicker but limited resource gathering, and have a slower but less limited option using an extractor method. That way you could use planets for long term sustainable resource production and asteroids for a quick and easy method. Adding a bit of variety,

      Any chance of a mini-drone carrier from the TG? I've been messing around with some of the enemy detection logic and you can get automated drone carriers to work fairly well.

      Do you mean put an extra entity rotated 45 degrees with a few gravity modules inside? I don't see why it wouldn't work. Sounds a bit awkward to make it look like one entity though.

      You can sort of get a similar effect with directional gravity, but that's only on four planes really.

      You may need a bit of assistance really. Even without other players getting in the way of your expansion you're going to have to deal with the fact that one person won't be able to expand as quickly as a full faction.

      We don't know, but for now I doubt it. The issue is path finding with widely differing shaped ships. I hope we get it eventually though.

      I'd keep the explode effect, but only have it for system blocks (ie power/shields etc). I'd also add a random EMP type effect.

      They're already planned I believe. I think they were waiting until they have an in game use for them? Personally I'd like to see them complete block all radar/scanners, so you could have hidden bases, ambush points etc. Could even have pirates/scavengers use them for ambushes.

      Ahh fair. Similar situation really. No point showing off half finished stuff. Honestly, the bigger problem than the sound effects we have is the sound engine itself being very lackluster.

      It's been said that the AI system they're working on can have fleets operate whilst unloaded in the game, so I wouldn't be too surprised if that's one of the functions they can perform. I guess we'll just have to wait and see though.

      Music especially can take a while to compose, and unlike game features etc doesn't really need widespread bug testing as it goes. So I imagine it could be a while before we hear anything really. I can also say from experience sharing early versions of tracks doesn't feel great, so I doubt...
