something that should've been added a long time ago. Not just a convenient way to get around it could help new players when they get their first ship destroyed by pirates. nothing says "screw this" quite like starting back at the advanced shop with absolutely nothing, no credits to buy another...
actually a "Go to Array" button would make more sense. You already have it selected. pressing the "Go to Array" button would make the move the camera to the exact location of the array similar to how pressing "X" will reset the camera back to the core
I've noticed that the weapons menu isn't as helpful as it could be. For instance if I have tons of weapon/system computers that all have their own slave it becomes confusing when u lose track or don't know what modules connect to what computer. For that matter the the menu only tells me the...
well thats good. Perhaps you should update the OP to add the rules regarding the use of mods and post production alterations (photoshop, etc.).
what happens when I play Mechwarrior online in between Starmade build sessions. :)
i was talking about its functionality in terms of gameplay. your idea is basically a alternative jump drive which might still be possible. however the term "Hyper Drive" is currently reserved for the highest fast travel tier. schine has stated this several times
in terms of the future features, hyperdrive is already planned however it will be used for intergalactic travel(long range) where the current jump drives are for inter-sector/inter-stellar travel(short range)
Interesting idea though.
Just did some testing on the jump inhibitors. They can be activated via logic! Interdicter drones/satellites incoming
though i did encounter trouble turning them off viz logic, may be a bug.
I'm just wondering why the old factory blocks haven't been repurposed yet. At least the old ore blocks still exist in game albeit as a buffer between the old and new blueprint systems. but theres still like a dozen obsolete factory blocks that are just taking up space
Well it works for Minecraft and we're Minecraft in space. I don't see the problem here.
a long time ago the devs were talking about tiered systems like Lvl 2 Power Reactor Modules or Lvl 3 Shield Capacacitors. That might still happen or maybe not who knows. If resource placement was reworked...
The salvage computer page is something that I'm still working on but theres alot of other pages that need work/refining. Any help would be greatly appreciated I just ask that you try and follow the format for the weapon pages, https://starmadepedia.net/wiki/Cannon_Computer to keep things...
just as everyone else has said schema has tried spherical planets before they didnt work out. I found this on the old site.
and square planets too
He detailed why these wont work in this article...
i've also made a orbiter type ship for just this purpose. http://starmadedock.net/content/moon-orbiter-planet-smsec.3085/
I've also made a handy guide on how to install it/sink things into planets
Some blasts from the past

then after it was implemented
Version 0.1837's momentary change to the master/slave ratios
when i found out that you can have a ai module on both the base and the barrel of a turret
was trying out shipyards and im wondering would it be possible to allow blocks that are touching the core anchor to also be intangible? or at least allow selective visibility of it. Seems really awkward to have beautiful shipyard arches be ruined by a tiny floating block out in the middle of them
