I concur. the option to "Construct to Item" should be added so we can mass produce fully loaded blueprints. Would be awesome if player shops had a "Blueprints" section that lists currently available blueprints that that shop has in stock.
indeed but what i was referring to is players placing it underneath the plate and inside of the molten core. you can build underneath the plate and you can sink ships inside of the core using rails but to astronauts the core is totally solid. even if you ride a ship into the core the moment you...
awesome! though for the planetary shield computer I would make some changes. Give it some kind of unique context menu so players have a reason to keep it within access distances other wise players will just place it under one of the plates and a ground assault no matter how successful will never...
the only way that I think this could work within starmade is that special planetary shielding is added that either heavily or completely negates ship born weapons. Only weapons mounted to "Vehicle Cores" and astronaut weapons will deal damage to the planet
I would love to start making tanks and such but planets will need to get much larger for vehicles to be even remotely viable not to mention there needs to be a reason why we choose to jump into a ground vehicle rather than a ship.
the only way that could work is if the storage were attached to a smaller ship docked inside the mothership and have it point at another ship that is logic rigged to warheads next to some system blocks. Start the warhead circuit then save the blueprint before it goes off. if everything goes as...
from my understanding raws not being placable is intended but then again i don't see why that should be so i half expect them to change this later. Also storage blocks on a AI ship do not spawn loot in them, loot only spawns when the ship overheats
I have and I never said Planet mining isn't a server issue, all im saying is it can be made more efficient while preserving the original concept of a massive mining ship eating a planet. im fine with changing the way salvage beams work on planets as long as it promotes the games concept of...
Every plate is like its own entity so it might have something to do with the game having to calculate the salvaging of two or more entities rather then one. Again, optimizations
im sure the AI will need to be updated when the thrust update happens. most ships will have a majority forward thrust so we might get actual dogfights rather then kiting matches
we definitely need some kind of planet based resource extractor however i dont think nerfing salvage beams on planets helps the fun factor of building a massive mining/industrial ship. if salvage beams only worked on asteroids then mining ships wouldn't need to be any bigger then 50m-ish which...
I'm pretty sure its bugged atm. if i remember correctly the mass enhancers enhance upwards. meaning that as long as you have enhancers at the lowest level of the chain then it should enhance all docked ships above it in the chain
