      I chose the third option because it was guaranteed to get a good, funny response from the OP. However, I think that based on the plans the game will become home to a huge variety of interactions. PvP will stay central, I'd think, because internet people love to argue and start fights.

      I think that giving a similar functionality to the astrotechnobeam would be better. Allow it to replace destroyed blocks as well as repair damaged ones. Also, give it an area of effect, or even just a slower repair speed and full-ship effect, i.e. repairs replaces blocks all over the ship.

      Maybe a separate block to allow modular ships to be easily constructed, then. I suppose the other option for modular ships is to build one of each possible ship, and make it a BP so you can use it in a shipyard....but then if you have multiple options on a ship it gets complex fast.

      Interesting idea, potentially useful. However, perhaps a better system for permanent/semipermanent attachment. Logic-signal-based permanent attachment, perhaps? Then you can send another signal later and it will form another entity with all the original blocks, and be capable of detaching again...

      I'd say that allow one logic signal to CHARGE a JD at a slow rate. In other words, logic clocks can be used to speed up the process, and some other system MUST be used to fire it, but a normal JD for, say, a warship, could charge while the player does other things.       Hopefully they've got more methods by which you can utilize fleets planned. This is an absolutely genius one, by the way. The only way to do this right now is to dock a drone hangar to a station and tell the hangar that it's a flagship. Also, make sure the hangar can't use its docker.
