      Get properly prepared. Make a VERY BASIC boarding vessel with a fast-access hatch from the core. Set yourself up on a straight-line intercept, then get out when you are a kilometer away or so. Make your way out away from the drop vessel, and realign as you shoot past the vessel you mean to board.

      Dumbfire missiles are becoming more and more effective the more developed fleets become. If we get formations better implemented, along with other options for fleets, a faction fielding 3 people could effectively manage a fighter squad, bomber squad, and battle line all at once.

      Just get a server admin on some server to lock a sector or 9, and start a large-scale battle with admin-spawned ships. Or do that on your own SP world and watch the AI duke it out....which is always a combination of interesting and repetitive.
