The Leonov class is meant to be the workhorse of space logictics. The ship is highly durable with almost 250k armor rating and has a good mobility for a cargo ship. Two independent cargo slots allow you to deliver cargo to two different destinations, and automation support allows you to stay in comfort inside instead of exiting the ship to manually drive the containers to their destination.
Cargo Container specifications and controls
Leonov class features two lateral cargo container mounts compatible with standard or automated GW-91 cargo containers or any 25m-long or smaller cargo containers with docking hooks no futher than 9m from the edge (although we do not guаrantee optimal performance of the ship should you use cargo containers much larger than GW-91)
To unload the container switch the desired cargo mount to unload mode. The procedure will be performed automatically, the container will be moved off the mount and released. To load container enable load mode and a container pickup swith on a desired mount. The container will be picked up as soon as it is floating free in the pick up zone.
GW-91 AUTO
GW-91 Auto is basically the standard GW-91 cargo container by Gasboy. The main differences are the fourth access hatch and 6 extra dockers meant to be used in automatic cargo systems. You can find more basic containers on Gasboy's profile. And if you need more automated containers, their schematics are included into the package or you can download them separately here: GW-91 AUTO cargo containers
The full range of GW-91 AUTO cargo containers included.
The ship is compatible with standard GW-91 containers, although automation features will be severely limited.
