After a vote amongst the department heads a few days ago, the results of which can be seen here, The Order declared that NassZone would become a minor colony rather than a a major one, however a colony it would be.

VGG Colony has grown by 7 members.
Kaban promoted to assistant head of finance.
Broomsage promoted to temporary head of research.
Noisi promoted to head of engineering.

Base on nasszone is operational with 2 rooms already taken. 4 other rooms are ready and another 58 are available which are not quite ready yet. Members are free to choose whether to join server or not. If you do wish to join the colonial effort, send a message to the faction in-game, send me a pm, contact me on steam or on discord.

TSA has established itself on VGG colony and has reported that they will move onto any major server where OOB moves if the OOB asks for it. This is good news as this will provide the OOB with more mining forces, while in the meantime the TSA pilots will be trained by OOB VGG Colony.

After the drop in temperature across multiple systems in the Order of Bogatyrs (some of our members had problems getting game started due to flooding problems), the Svyataja Krepost Times predicts that warmer weather is on the way (this will in turn mean some of members can play again so slight boost in activity)

NEWS​

The Order of Bogatyrs SS Division is now officially at war with Vaygr Raiders. The faction in question has destroyed an OOB Military Outpost near an allied base, placed there to allow allies to develop safely. The OOB SS Division leader, Markonius, has stated that the safety of our allies who were protected by this outpost will be maintained and that patrols will be sent into allied territory in case Vaygr Raiders decide to attack them as well.

The Order of Bogatyrs high command warns all other colonial leaders to beware of Vaygr Raiders in the event that they decide to wage war across other universes.

The Order of Bogatyrs will also be freezing any relationship with Vaygr Empire until this conflict, whether it be a misunderstanding or intentional, is resolved. All military personnel are hereby ordered to avoid confrontation unless it becomes impossible to do otherwise.

All citizens of minor colonies are recommended to stay at homebases for safety.

The following members are not be allowed near bases and should be eliminated if they approach the OOB facilities.

- ZeroRa =Until issue is resolved of sudden Vaygr Raiders attack contrary to the defensive alliance pact with Vaygr Empire

The Order of Bogatyrs will also be closing recruitment temporarily until internal issues are resolved.

FlyingDebris It is indeed a clusterfuck. Since it seems that War is the only element that some lesser beings understand, war is what they shall get. And when I say war, I do not mean a war of wits or of hurling abuses on the forums.

I am afraid due to current circumstance, we have a very limited recruitment policy. If you still express interest in our faction after 1-2 weeks time, then your application will be mulled over. In the meantime, due to the starting war and due to our current recruitment policy, your application is put on hold.

The construction of Gulag outposts has already been discussed. Whenever we get round to building some, purges will surely be much more authentic.

A recent study has shown that members are more inclined to add more detail on ships.

TSA protectorate has said that they will support the Order regardless of the personal costs in the following conflict.

The Ministry of Finance has predicted that the Order of Bogatyrs is currently economically capable of sustaining a war on more than one front. This is largely due to the stockpiling that had been going on the last month on multiple colonies.

The Government has sanctioned development in AI technologies and in research centers. The chosen man to lead this project is Admiral Matt.

Otherwise I'd say our build server, nasszone, systemhack and grkota are relatively active (Don't ask me questions about the servers themselves, as that is not directly related to our faction). Light vs Dark and Genxnova were most active ones but then they both had resets (and in case of Light vs Dark actually closed ).

Our Intelligence department functions as the OOB Intelligence Agency.
This is a government department responsible for the collection, analysis, and exploitation of information and intelligence in support of law enforcement, national security, military, and foreign policy objectives. Means of information gathering are both overt and covert and may include espionage, communication interception, cryptanalysis, cooperation with other institutions, and evaluation of public sources. The assembly and propagation of this information is known as intelligence analysis or intelligence assessment.

In general, Intelligence Agencies/Departments can provide the following services for their national governments:

• provision of analysis in areas relevant to national security;
• give early warning of impending crises;
• serve national and international crisis management by helping to discern the intentions of current or potential opponents;
• inform national defense planning and military operations;
• protect sensitive information secrets, both of their own sources and activities, and those of other state agencies;
• may act covertly to influence the outcome of events in favor of national interests, or influence international security; and
• defense against the efforts of other national intelligence agencies (counter-intelligence).

I hope that has been enlightening. Our structure is pretty self-explanatory from our main post, but if the idea behind the Intelligence Department was not self-explanatory, I apologise. When I have time, I will edit the main thread post with extra details or include it on our wikia.

Its a bit sad seeing that most of the leading positions in GNR and OOB is Bogdan/Markon Alts. Only Matt and Kudasil seems to be the only high ranking officers thats not you XD

I'll leave my answer here since I will answer this question for it is a valid one. However your post I will remove, since it is not in accordance with OOB faction regulations on news posting.

You should really pay closer attention to our ranks if you seriously think I have such a colossal amount of alternate accounts.
And yes I did admit to using spies, the wrong word is 'just'. The intelligence department was founded back in september and since then we had cases where information was collected and analysed to avoid threat to the Order. Contrary to some factions, which I will not name, we use spies to prevent damage through passing on information rather than to steal enemy blueprints, un-faction homebases, damaging other factions. The intelligence department is small, especially since PeopleKind resigned (though hoping he might return to starmade someday) so recruitment to it pretty much stopped. One thing I should post out is that news about our faction, on our thread will be posted by our faction members, not by foreign dignitaries, so I would ask you to kindly avoid doing so in future.

While I respect you as a builder and a faction leader, I must point out that unfortunately, you are mistaken in this regard.

Note: any further such posts I will answer in this very post through edits, so that I do not fill this thread up too much, I do not like to waste space. Moreover, to avoid further misunderstandings over our departments, I will go and make a page for each department on our wikia.



War News:
First skirmish when both Odium members and OOB members are online lasts 2 min. 1 min for us to get to base. 1 extra min for Odium-hired fleet to crash the server by entering our sector (though 3 of our members were killed while being frozen). Not sure if this means we will not be able to engage on SS, however will try to clear homebase of docked ships to limit lag and if possible carry out a skirmish at a later date.

Attempt to clear base publicly declared as an attempt to clear lag was ignored, more forces were moved into our homebase sector once again crashing the server.

No we did not leave nasszone, it is a very nice server to play on and fits our needs perfectly. Something darker is going on here.

I find it strange how our base was moved, coincidentally our enemies ships (vaygr raiders) are lurking nearby and we got put near a pirate station at 0 0 0. No indeed, we did not leave, our base is around, just 'somehow' we were moved over 100km from our location and the admin doesn't know about it.

I would rather this not be the case, but an admin on that sever was removed from Moderation duties on this site for several incidents involving your hostile party. Lets all hope this is not a situation of ugly history repeating its self.

So many cases of admin abuse in the past and even recently, it paints a bad picture for the future of the community.

Correction: He was retired from admin duties after banning people who were completely uninvolved in politics and faction warfare at all.

The problem was from a server glitch (this glitch also made the Arstotzkan homeworld vanish) and has since been resolved (both for us and for OOB).
