    Anyhow, back on topic.

    If the DFN lost, and left the server, but a new faction suddenly appeared...

    This new faction might contain DFN members, and claim former DFN property >_>

    It really doesn\'t matter who finally wins this war...your leaders are just childish idiots and I hope noone will ever again join one of you :P

    How is it childish to enjoy an aspect of a game? I think fighting people is a challenge and entertaining, im also not child and am currently attending college

    I doubt the DFN have any chance of wining this. The best they could do would be to cripple the Csar, which would be very unlikely. If they do manage that, though, the Vaygr would effectively lose their bigest ship.

    This thread doesn\'t really sound like anyone is still enjoying this. Sure you with the bigass ship can easily kill them all and their weapons don\'t even scratch your shields. Yeah maybe for you this is currently still funny, but DFN is loosing here and now you want them to fight a battle they can\'t win with their ships? And if they loose (seriously, they will) they have to leave...that\'s not even close to fair. Rules can\'t be made by one of the fighting factions, let someone else define the rules or make NO rules. I used to play on NASS but you\'re crashing it every 5-10 hours.


    (And about your age: I don\'t really care about your age but if YOU are attending college then I\'m Lindsay Lohan -.-)

    Of course I can not speak for anyone else but for me it was earnestly refreshing to see two people chatting and involving others in a discussion of what might be off topic but with a feeling that has been painfully lacking on the forums as of late.

    By this I mean this is a forum for a multiplayer game where people chat, meet, mingle and blow each other up from time to time and most importantly have fun. In many of these threads I see people having fun and enjoying themselves, making friends and coming up with plots to involve themselves and those they wish to work with, but lately it seems a bitterness has fallen over the posts and arguments abound when I look at threads about NASS.

    Yes different people have fun in different ways.

    It merely seems to me a shame that sometimes this brand of fun must be had at the expense of another to the point where the game is no longer enjoyable. Players decide they no longer wish to play with each other and new players grow hesitant to join a server due to the acidic overtones which have pervaded the events occurring therein.

    Tldr: Moar bandcamp. Less angry bickering plz.

    yeah but thats the problem the czar has 18 turrets, 30mil in shilelds and a amc array capable of destroying out mainline battlecruiser in under 4 seconds

    oh, right, since Karnage had 2 ships at the same spot one next to eachother, it was easy to see 100 entities and just get out of there to avoid the lag. They had 48 entities each(including mothership), and there were two at the same place. That makes 96, totally not 100 turrets at the same place.



    Of course, now you may say, again, \"omg u spy on me (Vaygr) again, admin abuse !\", no, I found this while investigating those little red popups saying about sector delay caused. Those ships weren\'t the problem of the lag though, so, no, I\'m not blaming those ships for all the lag on the server.

    Then it\'s power consumption must be enormous. Which means a well equiped \'ion\'(powerdrain) ship could disable it for long enough for a fleet to destroy it.

    Wait...

    I think I just found a way to kill the Czar.

    Hi,

    Something like that is easy to out-maneuver in smaller ship/s due to its size (and the fact that the thrust/mass ratio is a joke), so its main gun is mostly just decoration. If the screen-shot I saw is still accurate there\'s turrets down the left and right of the ship and probably nothing to worry about on top or bottom; and you can approach from either the left or right of the ship safely (the turrets can\'t shoot you).

    Basically; send a perma-cloaked scout to detemine how to approach it; then a small number of frigates could attack from the sides (being careful to match any rolling its pilot tries) and take the turrets out first, then you could leave a power drain ship on it (to keep it from firing and moving) and the frigates can go do something else. Once the Czar is disabled you can bring a larger ship in to work on getting shields down whenever there\'s nothing more important to do.

    Of course if the Czar is killed it\'s probably too large to simply buy a replacement from catalogue (cost more than the credit limit) so you\'d never have to worry about it again.

    Have u considered the Czar\'s escorts ( 5.7mil sheild thunderheads ). Also I have seen the DFN\'s Leo frigates, they aren\'t too very maneuverable as well now are they?

    No, I haven\'t had much of a chance to see either side\'s ships - I was only saying the Czar itself (from what I can tell) isn\'t an invulnerable fortress.

    With that logic, if the DFN loses, they should have to move a ton of sectors away from Vaygr instead of just leaving Nass.
