It is a starmade bug. The ship is huge and the catalog spawner is buggy so it takes some finnagling. Make sure you are far out in space where you aren\'t near anything with plenty of space. It messes up for some works fine for others, simply the nature of alpha i suppose.

You highlighted the real problem, which is the the balance isn\'t where it needs to be regarding how easy it is gather a substantial amount of credits.

Idk why you would want to stop people from using a feature, but you could adjust the prices so that it is not feasible to buy ships whilst still maintaining a perfectly fine economy.

I am sure it will be moddable eventually, it is a bit early. There are already some modding options in the launcher after all. He probably just wants to finish it as others have said. I get you though man, this game is so awesome and i just want to add stuff to it, got to be patient though.
