Dude that is some awesome work! Totally get what you mean about the remastered collection, theres so much stuff on my ships that is mostly artistic license based on the old low resolution textures.

A lot of people who struggle with creativity base them off of concept art or prexisting designs (stuff from films, games etc). Try searching for websites that have a lot of space ship artwork.

This makes sense, and I can't imagine that reworking the radar jammer and cloaker isnt planned, im sure its on the cards (might be far down the list though). This thread did make me think though, does anyone know if the new sensors can detect a ship with an active radar jammer or not?

Nice, the turret repair bays look like a great idea. Something worth noting, the guys that made the homeworld 2 complex mod actually have those turrets in game. As seperate deployable defences though.

I don't reconise that ship in the first screenshot, is it from a mod?

Oh that site is excellent :D i've been meaning to make a few paper models to site next to my homeworld boxes, but so far i've only made the kushan resource collector, the plans for the others look so intimidating!

I've never used it so I dont know much about it, but im sure theres a setting for limiting the playable area. I guess you've got it on by accident, there isnt a limit to where I can go in my game. Hopefully someone with experience using this will provide more information, sorry I couldnt help...

What i meant is it would be great if the thruster plumes in the vanillia game extended from the current one to what you have here.
