I will have to disagree with you this day Peitt, soulfully on one thing only. Density don't mean shit in space. I know this is a game, but in reality density has nothing to do with space or space ships really. Every thing is always determined by mass and volume.

What if it we had something where it was a volume counter instead of just the square. Like if you put down a docking unit and it would give you say 100 units of volume to work with, and enhancers would just add more volume for you to be able to use.

I like some of things you're suggesting, one thing i'm not sold on is ship/turret docking by mass. This may already be implemented, but docked entities mass needs to be added to the main ships for computing thrust. I just don't see the improvement of having mass based docking over volume. Love the idea of food. It's one of those things that people don't really think how important it is until it's not there. I also like the idea for having fuel but only for like FTL travel.

This Sunday's update to the station. This past week I've bean working on what I'm calling the "Political Building" (I'm terrible with names). It includes two courtrooms, two large offices, a large forum/presentation area, and several other rooms I'm not going to give away.

It My plan for it is for it to be used for shuttle and small ship docking (anything under 25m long) really, it might end up looking like an under ground parking lot a bit. Then I plan for there to be a under section where bigger ships will dock. I'm pulling some inspiration from this...

Maybe direct jumps should be smaller if its per sector. I have a a pretty big ship and it would only be able to move four sectors. Something like 50k might be better. What ever it is, it has to be more than the starting power capacity (20k). Every thing else sounds awesome.

I like the idea of us all having individualized weapons, and some of or own decorations. However, I think that we really need the professional opinion to see if this would be possible.

There was an idea for a sorta creep that would infest planets a while back. I think that it would be a cool idea that there would be a certain block it would make that if broken would release several small, fast critters; similar to silverfish in Minecraft.

I would love to have broad side cannons, and to have the camera be able to switch to look port or starboard would be awesome.
