That would raise the damage done by fast firing weapons, bringing them closer to the orininal damage per shot and possibly be a balancing issue on its own. If instead of ten second reloards, a regular cannon shots does 25 dmg in 5 sec reloads. Well in 5 seconds those rapid fire shots need to do...
I dislike the shotgun weapons overall. Swarm missiles are fine, even if they are heat seeking only. But shotgun lasers? I wouldn't mind if they were a bit more focused. I think it honestly looks so dumb when they are fired. It just doesn't feel right to me. Looks like a mess and feels like there...
Lol yeah that's me thanks. Idk right now it seems missiles and cannons treat the effects differently though. I want to do more testing later with larger systems and all combos eventually. Should be interesting. That was the first time I took a look at them so its neat that we get some...
Try with missiles. I have different results with them
Skip to 6 minutes exactly to see punch through and 8 minutes for piercing.
Both tests have the same numbers of modules
When they added the jump drives they stated that it they changed the mechanics entirely. Its not meant to go through multiple blocks, its meant to do damage more to hull than shields. I do not know if its actually bypassing shields or not but that would make the most sense. That being said they...
The claw fighter looks very similar to my old templar fighter oddly enough. I take it its based off the amarr fighter?
Actually that is my old fighter but repainted and with a few changes made to the back section.
I believe piercing or punch through was changed to just do more damage to hull instead of shields, as an opposite of ion. I think it was piercing. Can't remember.
I though piercing did more damage to hull than it did to shields. It seemed to actually fully destroy the blocks I shot instead of leave them damaged. So maybe while it doesn't spread its damage out anymore, it actually will remove the ones it damages?
Punch through seems to spread the damage out more. I have no idea what it used to do. If you want I actually did a test with some of my ships comparing equally sized weapon systems on four different ships in a video. Punch through gave lots of splash damage. Piercing was concentrated of course...
I would highly advise you to look into the topics you are posting. You have posted 4 or so suggestions that have already been discussed or are already implemented. There is no need to post a suggestion again if it has already been suggested.
That being said, I would very much like moons and...
I find the catalyst to be quite alright. I despise the helios and honestly it will probably get a new model soon. Almost all the caldari asymmetrical ships are gone now. Only gallente have to be worked on. They haven't had major hull redesigns in a while from what I heard.
Also, wafful. I do...
So deplete the integrity before damaging the actual armor blocks? Would that then give essentially two health values for the hull as a whole? In the end that equates to a second shield really, just based on varying armor values on the non-system blocks you place. Also he states that exposed...
Wouldn't this system require all non system blocks to be destroyed before effectively attacking system blocks? I'm thinking a percentage of total hull would be better.
