a very forward thinking suggestion. sounds good but i would wait and see what happens. hopefully if we could merge docked entities with that of the mother ship then maybe this sort of thing would be possible.
we already have that with the nav menu but my point was to help unclutter the HUD by removing rail parts that serve only one function and are never meant to be undocked. To me removing intermediary rail entities from the HUD would make ships feel much more cohesive like you are looking at 1 ship...
awesome idea! I actually had a very similar idea that involved slaving docked entities using the weapons menu but i think this is actually more practical.
If theres one thing I would add is that ship part dockers will make the ship core of the docked entity disappear. Its incredible annoying to...
me and duke just went through and managed to delete most of not all of the spam pages. Hopefully we can get some spam protection soon.
as i've said before schema is working on a bot to automatically create and maintain the block pages so what we need is just general pages for various game...
thats exactly what i wanted to do with the old wiki but didnt have the indepth knowledge to add it. all of what you said would be perfect.
if you wana start editing just go the the wiki and create an account. as duke said its not tied to the registry yet so its treated as separate account. I...
yo Auburn thanks for the new asteroids. Are you gonna work on fixing some of the procedural generated structures? like cities on Terran planets and pyramids on desert planets? when they spawn they are pretty weird atm.
i initially thought that when we got the fleet update it would have some kind of life bar addition to the HUD for all of your ships. I agree we should have something like this. I'll bring this up with the council
the problem is that the AI is inconsistent. some times it works with multiple outputs some times it doesn't. the only reliable designs i've seen are ones that just one output.
not sure what you mean by new map (unless you're previously using an older version before the map overhaul) but the Mining AI is still pretty messed up. However its ability to mine is heavily dependent on how many outputs the salvaging array has. Current the AI only works perfectly with just one...
already happened in a way. Everyone that won the contest was asked to refit their stations. those that arn't able to are having their stations rebuilt by Schine. I think they are waiting on the NPC update to implement them
