      Would be ok if turrets were fixed to have worse targeting/tracking with higher mass, but I fear that there will be some 100%-accurate setup which deny any fighters from almost out of their own radar range..

      I don't like general range buffs. Maybe allow 2 slaves on ships, but turrets can't dock if you assign 2 slaves or you can't add a second slave while docked. maybe add weapons with 1 minute cool-down and 4km range. The only issue with this is if you replace the weapon computer you reset cool-down.

      I would like 1 pirate sector each 4, 9 or 16 sol systems. Every time you kill them when they have full strength, their full strength is increased by 10% (not if you kill the base before they fully recovered). They have a cool-down before they re-spawn and after that get back to full strength...

      Maybe just apply a cost for active use. Pirates everywhere killing your turrets! Or some strong missiles for which you have to reload with dis-integrators connected to your missile array - a nice sweet spot.

      Maybe it should reduce weapon range also. It would be silly to be shot out of nowhere. Max range = 90% sight range. As sight range will probably be around your core, your ship can be 10% as big or parts far away from your core may get hit without a chance to strike back = good nerf vs big ships.

      It will not show circuits if I enter logic. It will also not show civilization when I enter creatures. It is a bigger problem that it seems to be at the first look. Other example: Warp, FTL, jump-drive, teleport, hyperspace, ... So many words mean the same.
