Yes, I have just noticed this. Also, turrets are not firing using AI. I had noticed that some pirate stations (with the pre rail turrets) don't fire anymore but even a new ship with new (ie. New power and weapon) turrets don't fire on enemy targets.
Yeah, I'm kinda going for something like that with one faction. There is a "mining" modifier but it is unclear as to whether they become precious over their resources and fight you off or just barge in and try to mine the asteroid you are mining.

Nope, not that. It is a new build and the turrets that are being employed are all post the power update. One is pre the weapons update but has been completely stripped out and has been turned from a beam/cannon/piercing effect to cannon/beam because I just liked the look of the turret.

It was the first time I had ever edited the _em file as I wanted to remove the two lights on the front. Once this file was in the txTmp(?) folder it would prevent any further changes to be made.
