That camera problem is you zooming out. Holding the left SHIFT key and scrolling will zoom the camera in and out.

The Unofficial Super Friendly and Fun Station Competition for Sentient Beings in the Galaxy!

I know that some people are amazing enough that they can build fantastic stations in a couple of days. I wanted a limit that was somewhat unrealistic. :P

      Random Ideas Thread

How about a missile, made out of a ship? Said ship could have some damage pulses, which are continuously activated by a logic clock. You would fire it with push pulse, not sure how one could toggle the damage pulse, wireless logic perhaps? I would do this since damage pulses completely bypass...

The Unofficial Super Friendly and Fun Station Competition for Sentient Beings in the Galaxy!

There will be no maximum limit, however, there may end up being a minimum, I'm currently trying to think up an appropriate number for said minimum, was hoping for some third party opinion. On a side note, thanks for sponsoring, CNY is now apart of the Sponsor's Wall of Fame! :D

Brainstorm This Controllable & Grouped Turrets

My Display Module Ideas covers a possible way of having player-controlled turrets from within the main ship. Shameless self-advertisement because why not... :P

      Linking camera and display block

As Valiant said, lag would be a serious issue (FPS/Client lag) however, could be easily stopped, if possible. The only reason lag would be a thing is because it's having to render multiple fields of view at once, meaning that to eliminate lag we would have to make the render only happen once...

      Dynamic Galaxies/Universe

I would expect them to look on pages other than the first, I know I'm not the one who decides what gets tagged or not, what I'm doing is just trying to increase the odds of this getting tagged, I've agreed to at least slow down the bumps to monthly, hopefully that is more middle ground for what...

      Dynamic Galaxies/Universe

Alrighty then, the bumps will change to monthly, again, just wanting the devs to at least recognize this. :P

      Dynamic Galaxies/Universe

First of all, I'm bumping for the devs to see this, and to at least give it a recognized tag, since this would be a MASSIVE addition to the game. Second of all, no offense, I personally hate your idea of only a few factions. This entire system I came up with was to allow the singleplayer...

      Dynamic Galaxies/Universe

Honestly I'm tempted to create my own little version of this in a different engine and send it to the developers, if that'll increase the chances of it being implemented. :P

      Rejected Change Coloured Hull System

Again, alignment. That is how it would speed up, even size numbers (for example, 4) are much easier to find and load up than odd size numbers, the blocks may take up more space, but they compensate by being able to be loaded easier.

      Rejected Change Coloured Hull System

The game would run faster if we just added the fourth byte rather than replacing one, again, the alignment would mean a significant increase in calling the data. :P

      Rejected Change Coloured Hull System

That is another possibility, one that seems better than the one I've proposed. 256 colours AND alignment is better than just 27 colours and alignment. :P

      Rejected Change Coloured Hull System

I am aware as to how everything is simply a humanly understandable form of binary, however I was misinformed on how beg the hex values go to. But the same principle can be used, just with a bit more limited colours. That extra byte will allow for alignment, as even numbers are significantly...
