I can't count the number of times I've fired my salvage beams at my planet when trying to land thinking I had the docker selected... Mistakes happen, I would support a way to disable planet and asteroid salvaging from owned property. It could easily be an option in the faction module.

I do know that a chair model is being held back for the LOD system so any other models would have to wait, I'm not sure how much of an issue it would be once the system is in for Saber to start designing and adding new models. Although I'm sure secret fauna models keep him busy.

Instead of any popup tools it might be as simple as a key combination or new key-bind that aligns you to the closest orientation on the plane. So you get yourself close and then hit the key and the ship takes care of the rest.

It has an orientation? It just docks you to the rail next to it, I guess orientation would be important if you have a cluster of rails. I usually just fixed this moving the pickup point so it was only next to the rail I wanted to dock to.

I've definitely heard suggestions for this kind of feature before but a quick search turned up nothing. I would like to see a method of spawning turrets or maybe other saved components either using creative mode or build mode while in a shipyard.
A way to organize or tag blueprints would be quite amazing. You might not even need folders if we had a tag system where I could just tag my turrets as turrets and then just filter by tag. Any system would be better than what we currently have though.
