      I'm certain the very particle system will have different effect for each weapon/slave combo. i.e. normal missile is normal, rapid missile is cone shaped in the direction of travel, swarm has two trails, seeker has a short second trail, nuke has a spinning star effect (like photon torpedos)

      Chance of absorption by the parent ship? I like the idea. I'm trying to think of a way where the small turret on a small ship gets a good bonus, while the small turret on a large ship gets an okay bonus, and a large turret on a large ship really doesn't get a bonus.

      I believe the devs are planning to add this feature to the existing astrotech. My main concern is not knowing what block to put down (and any connections, those can be stored, but the ability to target mission blocks on the inside of vessels.

      I wouldn't worry so much about problems with mass placing with a large setting as I would with not having the control to adjust the sliders easily enough. I tried it at 400 and wound up unable to get to low values (like 10) easily enough. 25 seems to be the new default.

      Erm, what I meant was another build mode feature to turn off different types of blocks, which would have a few presets, but you could always adjust it type by type.
