sounds like you are moving across the border of a planet sector.
they do rotate and do cause that irritating effect.
no fix for that afaik (maybe daycycle stteing to 0 would work. but i dont really know)
a new install would create a "world0" and not a world "pokus" as it did in your logfile.
you didnt by accident install an very old game version first and then upgradet it to the latest dev build ?
edit: forget it ... Dev build seems to be broken. current builds cant create a universe it seems
Hello again. I did ask Andy about this.
You are using a too old universe for the build you are running.
please remove the worlds and create a new one. that should make the game run again.
(just clean everything from C:\Starmade\.\server-database\)
you have to save builds in an older version to...
And install the game in a place more unprotected place. For example c:\Starmade. Maybe user permissions on the desktop is interfering here.
from the logfile ... i guess that is the error line that causes it.

Make a backup of your universe (usually in \Starmade\server-database\yourworldname)
then delete from the original universe under \Starmade\server-database\yourworldname the files

FLOATING_ITEMS_ARCHIVE.ent
FLOATING_ITEMS_ARCHIVE.ent.old
TRADING.tag
SIMULATION_STATE.sim...
those are logfiles of .472 ... what is needed is a logfile of a game startup with a non working version.
edit:
and are you sure you are usong the very latest (2 year old :/ ) drivers ?
Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 3000
That file might be empty too.
please ad the --verbose option to a links properties of the starmade launcher and start with that to produce a more meaning full launcher log.
looks like this on win 7 (no clue what it looks like on win10 and in english)
make a backup of the folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\StarMade\StarMade\server-database\Universe 2
to make sure you are not deleting anything important.
then make sure in Universe 2\index\ are only those files
also make sure their isnt a java.exe task still running even...
swinglow20 ... hi ... i talked to someone about this and he took a look and he thinks this isnt fixable.
are you using a Notebook or is this a normal Desktop PC ?
in case it is a desktop you may want to think about upgrading it with a cheap GPU.
an RX560 or NV1050 i guess would do.
That means you are using a nearly 8 years old CPU.
To run starmade itself that should still be fine.
However, i checked and the drivers you are using are indeed the newest ones ... only that they are 5 Years old too.
sorry to say but it could very well be that the embedded HDGrafics of that...
You are running the game on an embedded Intel GPU.
the Driver seems to not be recognised properly, it is only supporting OpenGL2.1 (which if true suggest an older CPU), i am not sure right now ... but 8.15xxx sounds a bit old for the drivers version to me.
