Game doesn't start on mac os

Launcher just shut down after i click start game.
I downloaded new launcher and got this:

Is it able to write to its own folder ?

Yes, it has.
I am running it from download folder.

In the Launcher, have you tried clicking the Build Type gear icon and changing the game install directory?

unpack the launcher to somewhere else than the download folder.
make sure it is unpacked and not run from within its archive.

this also happens to me. same error and these suggestions don't work

this error hows up when you try to open the launcher (the launcher doesn't start up)

hold on.

i just pulled it out of the folder onto my desktop and it started up
