Regaring grouping, you could 'link' warheads, AND set one of the blocks as the out put for all the blast.
This would enable more warheads to be used at once (unlike how they are currently)
Hey devs, are there any changes planned to the way armor currently works? Im sure most players would agree that it is more of a novelty than a useful feature at this point.
It would be nice to see ships without sheilds (but layerd in armor) viable builds.

I find that you have to be very careful with their use, even if your mucking aorund you can accidently declare war on 3 factions at once lol XD
During tests, Ive found that beam-missiles are far better at taking out sheilds for less energy cost
Regarding stars, all you do is have a couple of heal blocks near your core. Just jump to a sector near the sun and use them to constantly heal yourself. The boarders on the other hand wouldn't have access to any heal blocks and would thus roast alive.

After doing some tests Ive discovered that a 600 Canon-600 Punch will destroy 10-15% more blocks per shot than 1 1200 block cannon.
It doesn't do nearly as much as I thought :/

-What does the punch thru passive effect actually do?
-What does the pierce passive effect do?
Are either of these systems worth mounting on a ship?

Armour DOES seem to be useful in some cases, but no-where as useful as extra shields would have been.
From my testing, direct missile hits to a ships armor that still has some % left have a much decreased radius, but cannons still tear through it like butter. Cannon-Cannon punch can easily tear...
They dont shoot down missiles from my ship, ONLY from some of my ships missile turrents.
They all have faction moduals, but I dont think that all of them have been manually set since docked entities are give a blanket 'factioned'.
It must be treating those turrents missiles as netural I think...

Agreed. Its relatively easy to saturate a players ship with hundreds of low-power missiles.
A number of servers also have an entity limit per ship, thus building enough pd turrets to handle hundreds of missiles at a time is simply not practical.

Having varried missile explosions due to the effect would create a lot of new wepon combos and make missile combat more tactical and imersive i.e different types are more effective vs different ship types...
