I agree, there needs to be a lot of balancing work etc done before breaching becomes viable.

They could spawn around wormholes :? Also them being able to use emp and make your ship dead in the water sounds pretty awesome, you do not want to mess with them. And yeah, space harpoons for the win :D

At this current point in time, offensive boarding is kinda pointless.... if you can board, then you could also bust open the hull. You can still core ships btw, all you gotta do is destroy the faction block and youve disabled the ENTIRE ship :) Star made would need a lot of reworking to make it...

This actualy seems like a good idea, maybe Sheilds/thrusters etc can still operate if the computer goes down but at a reduced efficiency (50%?)

You cant have a set finite amount of resources on a multiplayer server can you? Because that means it will die..... new players dont want to have to travel across whole galaxies to find the scarps

It is a bit silly... I guess it was put in place as a 'buff' to small ships to make them more viable and effcient than larger ships (bigger ship = less efficient reactors)

I hope schema gets asteriods back in soon, or once hes fixed the exploits
