We are making some excellent progress this episode. Finishing up our hull design of the latest ship. I do need some name suggestions. If you have any let me know.
I believe the map will grow to be increasingly important to manage you faction when progressing into the game.
Setting up routs for fleets or designating areas to protect. This could all be done through the map instead of text based windows.
A lot more user friendly as well I believe.
Now that the faction update is out we will have more and larger faction territories in the galaxy map.
At the moment the current map design works but with all the faction colours it’s sometimes hard to see what is going on, on a star system scale.
So I’m proposing to go for a 2 layered design...
I think the fleets need to learn the concept of ‘breaking’ and ‘slowing down’ before approaching a station. It’s a pinball fiesta right now.
Love the activity it brings to the universe however.
As many people have already said. The game is still being developed at its own pace. I’m not worried about that. Just look at this thread how open the team is what they are trying to accomplish.
Games like DU might show some impressive graphics but the information available now does not tell me...
