A 1/10 scaled interpretation of a Tactical Borg Cube. It’s big, menacing and it will assimilate you.
This build features:
- A stunning exterior with layered details and lighting.
- Main exterior hall featuring a Borg core.
- Hanger bay for Borg sphere drone...
It started out as me making a bit of fun out of cube ships. Turned intop a bigger project then expected.
As for posting the vids. They where working on the forums at the time so it wouldnt let me post links to it.
The station is still operating under old power for now. I’ll switch it over once I have a better idea of the internal layout.
I’m hoping to get the drone shipyard as automated as possible. Building a drone however I don’t think can be logic controlled.
A number of people have asked me about putting up a blueprint for Armada station.
So here it is.
This is very much a work in progress. So don’t expect to find lots of interior yet.
You know what they say. A picture tells more than a thousand words.
And I think it’s a bit more productive then only saying why something is bad. It shows what can be improved and possibly how.

Made the distinction between tabs more obvious. It’s hardly visible in the original version.
Step one. Selecting the reactor. Removed all unneeded cluttered info. Made the buttons clearer...

This is probably the last iteration of my interface idea I’m going to post here. In line with the colour palate of the current interface. And probably more realistic in implementation. Especially the text only version.
Can’t agree more. The same goes for any logic rail contraptions. They break all the time now.
It’s why I’m going to focus a bit more on the interface issues. It’s a bit of a pet peeve for me.
Because it’s very difficult to describe something in words when talking about images I made a simple mock-up of a chamber info graphic.
This is what I mean with clustering information. One glance and I know what the status is of the chamber, that I can still level it up and at what level it...
