The Mysterious Jewellery Box

    The Mysterious Jewellery Box 1.1

Possible the first full on adventure map for StarMade. I proudly present to you the Mysterious Jewellery Box.
It contains adventure, puzzles and humour all for you to enjoy.

What do you need to know to play it?

    Single player:

    • Load in the station in a universe of your choice. Make sure it’s not overlapping multiple sectors.
    • Create a random faction and make this station your faction home.
    • You are all set to play. You have the option to enable death if you wish. This uses warheads to kill the player when they fall from platforms.

    Multiplayer:

    • Load in the station in a sector of your choice. (survival spawning not recommended). Make sure it’s not overlapping multiple sectors.
    • Make this a faction home of a faction or use other means to make the station invulnerable.
    • All interactive blocks should have permission modules so other people can use them.
    • You are all set to play. You have the option to enable death if you wish. This uses warheads to kill the player when they fall from platforms. I would not recommend using this in a survival universe.

All puzzles should reset themselves after play through. So multiple play troughs are possible.

The station indicator is located at the entrance of the station. Also contains the faction and build block.

If you run into any problems let me know and I’ll try to fix them in an updated version later.

    Enjoy!

This was a lot of fun! Thank you for taking the time to make this.
Great work! It was a lot of fun! Surprised me!
    very nice ^^
I take back my previous rating...MUCH better now. Deserves the full 5.
Really great adventure map, awesome build and style, no doubt inspired by minecraft.
I would give it 5 stars but there were two problems i felt while playing it:

1)In the level before the one with the rotating rooms, it was VERY ambiguous what we were supposed to do...I just found the button on the wall with the creepers by chance, after a long time. I finally had to dig the door XD
Also, the final level (in the bath) , where we had to guess the order of pressing the activation modules, I wondered whether we had been given a clue about the code or just had to randomly try out the order.

2)HORRIBLE lag which resulted in me dying on multiple occasions. But this may be just a problem on my end.

Overall, really creative idea, nice stuff you did with the rotating corridors, the bookshelf with the magic books flying around!

I addressed both issues with the garden and pool room puzzles. They give proper clues now on what to do. (Hopefully)

The framerate I can’t do much about sins I’m not experiencing it myself. Could be that the current update of the game does not like some of the logic? Best guess is the clocks I used for the moving platforms at the start.
I just finally played it and recorded it for the channel, and it is as good as I expected, thanks for this adventure map! You have made a AWESOME job!!!
Really good build but it could use some minor improvements. The bit with the yellow rose buttons could use a hint. Maybe have the statue holding a yellow rose in it's hand? You should also have the combination to open the vortex be something you learn as you solve the other puzzles rather than just something you have to guess. Also for the moving platforms like the books if you put a layer of area triggers on top of them and link the area triggers to a gravity block you can automatically enter the gravity of the platforms so you move with them when they move. Then have another patch of area triggers on the main entity where you land after jumping off the platforms.

Very good suggestions. The yellow flower idea I really like. I’ll have to do some testing for the others. The ‘button skill’ was a bit of a hint as well. Suggesting buttons would be used in the next area.
