So what we need is regular balancing tournaments between super-dreadnaughts and fighter squadrons. If either side wins 3/3 battles, the winning side gets nerfed.
OK, here's an example. I have an escape pod smoothly snugged into the hull of my ship. I'd like to be able to launch it without both structures having a seizure, and without having a meter-wide gap spoiling my pretty aesthetics. (whine, complain, generic carping)
It's frustrating to undock a structure and find that you are wedged between blocks. The resulting twisting, turning, and intra-structural spasming is just unpleasant for all concerned.
Would it fix the problem if the block collision boundary were inset by 1 pixel? That way, it's at least...
And now for something completely different... Sometimes the coolest turrets are the ones you can't even see. My opinion of course. :)
Pictured is first combat test of my current build, A frame out rebuild of the TOS Constitution class. Build includes internally articulated rail based...
This is a lose interpretation based on multiple sources, but true to the scale and general design of the Tholian patrol craft that were introduced in the TOS episode "The Tholian Web"
This ship is intended as a light enemy for Trek themed servers.

It happened again. this time I got a screen shot. The only ship in my library with a pulse does not have a cloak. Here have a screen shot:
Note the lack of enemies in HUD
Well then, I think I know what got me. A while back I attempted to make a space-whale that defended itself with shield drain and propelled itself by pulse. I don't recall cloaking the critter, but the attack pattern makes sense.
Actually, I wonder if I did hit a bug then. Yesterday I had...
So there I was minding my own business in sector 2,2,2. I was actually within the field of the trade station.
I was building the frame of a new ship, when suddenly I started spinning out of control. My ship health began dropping. I got notice that I'd been hit by a pulse. I got a warning...
New features:
Overdrive (30%)
More Thrust
Rail based ...
Bussard Collectors
Hangar bay door
Pressure doors
Escape Pod
Landing Struts (internal Remote)
Expeditionary vehicle
Nothing extravagant here. No new blocks, textures or colors.
Can we have "basic rail" create an activator-like logic signal while a docked object is attached to it? Naturally it would also create a button-like logic pulse as docked structures slid across. (edit: Maybe rotators would button...
(shocked and horrified) Just because we give an avatar a female shape does not give you permission to go hitting on her, or her boxes, you misogynistic beast you.
(Note: In case it wasn't clear. The preceding statement was low humor based on a bad pun, not a sincere criticism or sociopolitical...
It wouldn't take much, heck I say use the same skin for both Dave and Dani (well that's what I'd call her. or maybe Dana?) _Slightly_ narrow the shoulders and waist relative to the hips. _Slightly_ expand the pectoral areas of the mesh, preferably without cleavage. I like the idea, but she...
It did! Would you believe it never occurred to me that rotators were rails too? I was just treating them like pivots.
It did expose an odd bug though (at least it seems like a bug to me at this point) I keep running into a condition where my rotators will switch happily to counter-clockwise...
