      Yeah funny, still, it wouldn't allow for a true survival-style game-play where you start off with nothing. If you have no ability to generate power, then there is no game.

      Interesting idea... but there also needs to be individual permissions too, so factions members can protect their ships and stuff from being raided by fellow faction members. Adding an "add personal signature" to the faction module would solve this.

      I'd be okay only with being able to tell a ship with an AI module to fly to a specific sector, but not actually able to control the ships. This would allow you to command drones to return home, or back to your ship. During auto-pilot, however, these ships shouldn't be able to fire their weapons...

      The only real way that multiple monitors can be handled is to use the "fake full screen mode", basically it's a window that has no window decorations, and takes up the entire screen. A second window would then be created and positioned where the second screen would be. That's pretty much it...

      Actually, I'd love it if a chest was destroyed by a warhead block that it didn't drop anything... it would make self-destruct systems all the more fun.

      Well.. it could be possible if the rail docker could be activated via logic--which it can't be at the moment. If it could, then logic could detect that the canister has been undocked, then fire the docking beam on the other side of the canister. A pad of rails could then direct the canister...

      I'd like to see this too. It would be handy esp. when a factory is hooked up to a ton of factory enhancers... Currently I'll use multiple factories to produce 1, 10, 100, xxx blocks. With this I won't need as many, and can attach a factory to storage, let it run, and not worry about checking up...

      Imagine servers breaking with a cannon that fires far too many bolts per seconds? Imagine overpowered weapons that break the whole concept of balancing! Interesting idea... but the system is fine the way it is for now. There's been a lot of work re-balancing the weapons already.

      Stop effect computer attached to logic solves that problem. True someone could push a base, but they wouldn't be able to bypass it's defenses by one-shooting it with a huge salvager array.
