High post count =/= Good forum contributions.

Instead, brillant suggestions of all kinds, helping others, providing constructive criticism and feedback are just the tip of the iceberg, if I were to grant such a shiney badge.

Well, I haven't the time to look through all your 890-ish posts. Besides, I mentioned that that list of Good Shtuff was just the tip of the iceberg.

I don't know the rest of the iceberg either. That's like, dev magic. After all, it's the devs who'll be throwing final decisions. That includes deciding the quality of anyone's suggestions, posts, etc.

In regards to the factions argument: It's been talked about before in this thread (pages 1-2). Two Schine staff have said it won't happen, so chances are it's not going to happen :P
There's no need to talk about it further.

Medals for Factions starts to give official recognition to unofficial things. It's a bit of a minefield.

I'd suggest keeping faction colours in your signature. Much easier imo.

Factions and servers will never have a badge, it is final.

Thadius, you may hve alot of posts, but I tink it is more related to your post to postive rating ratio. I have always had less posts than you, yet held top spot on the positive ratings for a good few months, and got badge.
