I came up with a new elevator design last night that takes user input via a display module to specify which floor to go to. Additionally, you can give each floor an "optional" name, such as "bridge", "top", "bottom", etc, if you want the user to have the option of specifying a floor number or name.
The download includes all 3 templates that can be used to construct it (landing, master, and bypass; landing is for each stop, master is a landing with the additional shared logic, and bypass is a shaft segment with no door) and the platform blueprint.
Assembly instructions:
By design, there is no set limit to how many floors you can add to this elevator, so long as the game allows however many logic block connects as required.
There is probably some room for simplification in the logic design, but this does work. I may release future versions where logic has been simplified and possibly new features added as StarMade receives more updates.
