    The MIC-583 mobile industrial complex
A self-sufficient, self-propelled industrial park, turning asteroids into spacecraft!

Nicknamed "Mick", this 583-meter-long powerhouse is basically a flying island of heavy industry, featuring:
    (ON SUPERSTRUCTURE)
    Mineral and ice dump
    Ore refinery

    (ON SUNKEN SURFACE)
Central tower housing the core room and bridge
    Nuclear reactor
    Fuel plant
    Metal foundry
    Component factory

    (WITHIN HULL)
4 large hangars for miners / freighters
4 small hangars for utility craft / defense ships
    Engine rooms
    Shield generator rooms
Extensive living and work areas with discoverable secrets, FIND ALL FIVE HIDING ROBOTS!

    (BELOW HULL)
    Large, functional shipyard (max fitting vessel size: 351L x 111W x 84H)
    Total size: 583L x 421W x 235H (588 long with front turret barrels)

    Power: 21mill e/s

Shields: 60mill capacity, 590K net recharge

Chamber effects: enhanced shields, jumpdrive and turn-rate
I've put a lot of effort into making everything seem to flow around realistically. The details tell two storylines. One is about rocket fuel:
    1. mining ships dump asteroid ice into the collector atop the ore refinery
    2. where a drone melts it (animated)
    3. then liquid water flows into the ore refinery, from where it's pumped to the fuel plant
    4. within the fuel plant, a big pool contains the water while it's separated into gaseous O2 and H2
    5. the oxygen and hydrogen get compressed, cooled and liquefied
    6. then pumped outside, into appropriately labeled tanks (actually traceable pipelines!)

The second story is about ship components:
    1. conveyor belts can be seen moving stuff from the mineral dumps into the ore refinery
    2. dedicated machines sort out each starmade ore and shard, plus sand (used for glass production)
    3. nine snaking pipes lead the ore refinery's granulate outputs to the metal foundry
    4. where a series of conveyor belt steps transform pure metals and carbon into workable alloys
    5. chunks of alloy are carried by trucks to the component factory
    6. where cutting/welding/handling robotic arms put materials together into functional parts
    7. finally, the ship components descend on a cargo elevator to a small hangar, from where utility craft can either build them into a vessel in the shipyard, or send them further down to a freighter hangar (outbound flights could ship out the excesses to be sold elsewhere)

The fuel sequence comes to a dead end, since the ship's bottom is still unfinished. The final destination of fuels should be the shipyard and hangars, as well as the main engines and RCS thrusters... To be continued in a future update.

Feel free to use it as you wish :)
