Name: Hunter

About:
The fourth entry into the fighter/light attack craft of the Valor series, and the more aggressive cousin of the Ranger, the hunter mark 1 light-medium fighter attack craft, or simply the Hunter M1 l-M/ FAC, is the ideal Frontline and fire support fighter for those who favor offensive power above all else.
The Hunter, whilst maintaining the look of the Valor series, actually takes several design ques from the Bodkin M1 and the Stoat class Fighter. Designed originally to act as a Bomber, the design was expanded upon to included anti fighter weaponry, a forward combat laser system, cannon turret systems, a basic recon suite, afterburner, an auto-charge FTL drive, a shield cap/outage matrix, and a reactor booster.
Naturally its role expanded, almost to the point where the Hunter is almost a perfect transition ship between Fighter/attack craft type ships and dedicated Gunships. while it's dimensions may stretch the hangar room and capacity of a light carrier or standard/civilian station, the Hunter's speed, fire power and durability more than live up to its name's sake.

Authors note: a minor foul up on the display to the left; I originally envisioned Giving the Hutner dumb fire rockets in addition to tracking missiles, but i scrapped them to keep the tracking missiles and reduce power consumption, but forgot to erase that from the toolbar guide display before i saved the ship so here it is properly:
