    Hungry Ghost Mining Ship/Drone 2017-03-01

Neo Echota Drive Yards now begin presenting our key industrial craft blueprints for you to use or alter as you see fit.

The Hungry Ghost is quite simply a little powerhouse of industry.
Easily built early in the game and endlessly useful in groups as drone miners. Covered mostly with simple hull material, they are cheap, fast, shielded, jamming and armed.

BEAMS shoot out of their mouths and red missiles shoot out of their EYES!...Ahem...Sorry.

As I was saying, with a 31k cargo capacity, a grid of cannon-linked mining beams and two groups of anti-fighter missiles, a survival player can ride in whimsical style along with a quite nice core view to boot.
As you can see, the lunchbox profiles are designed for maximum utility while allowing them to be docked in numbers in surprisingly small bays.

The pilot rides directly above the beam arrays in a sunken cockpit that can easily be retrofitted with a universal docking collar.

    The aforementioned core view:

The under-bow docking is made easy with a camera that rides directly above and behind the rail docker. The cargo is linked to this rail, allowing for ease of ore transfer, or shipping of finished goods.

Even fully loaded, it is a fast ship, making your mining trips as painless as possible. Even more if they are replicated and fleeted as shown here:

Be warned though. Unloaded, they are quite zippy little ships. Close docking maneuvers should be made with small bursts of the thrusters.

It has no interior to speak of, but the cockpit can easily be expanded into a nice little cabin if you don't mind adding length or height.

I hope you enjoy these. They've been a steadfast mining chassis for me for some time now. Next up, the Fatty Finch Zip Freighter! For when you REALLY need to move.
