This ship is an entry into the Community Build Initiative [Link]
Specs:
The Dusthopper Mk2 is a home-made racing ship that is light and agile. the 75m long sprinter sports a 5-1 thrust-to-mass ratio, maximized top speed and turn rate, a mass of just under 975, and 33.5 thousand points of shield HP. The compact interior includes the cockpit, a common room, a bathroom/med bay, and an engine room. it is compatible with a crew of one or two people, but aside from the couch, there's no sleeping arrangements.
Flavor:
The Dusthopper is a passion project, science experiment, and aftermarket-modified pile of junk. Built in a garage by an individual with no confirmable qualifications, the ship is the result of taking an antiquated racing ship, disassembling it, and strapping the parts to a capital ship landing thruster. Enter at your own risk. it sure is fast, though.
The builder chose to remain anonymous so that they don't "get frickin' doxxed into oblivion by [their] avid and massive junk-racer fanbase" but claims that the ship has almost paid off material costs in race winnings. When asked what their future plans were in regards to racing and building, they replied that they expect their odds of living until next cycle decrease dramatically every time they press the Dusthopper's ignition.
