Big Shaman Disaster Relief Boat .95?

As the last in our small series of utility vehicles, Neo Echota Drive Yards presents the Big Shaman Disaster Relief Boat.

Seen here with it's smaller day-to-day variant, the L'il Shaman:

This is a fairly specialized piece of 'just in case' gear that's good to have a blueprint for, should you ever need it.

It's rarer to see on most servers, more common on others, but occasionally, someone nearby suffers a catastrophic attack on their station, or they got their ginormous battle-wagon all shot to pieces, or somebody got off a lucky shot causing catastrophic auxiliary battery failure that blows out the power grid, or whatever.

Your friends could begin repairs on their station, or start evacuation, but they can't run their factories anymore. Your buddy with the battle-wagon could limp back to port, but he doesn't have the juice to run the massive thrusters or charge the jump-drives to get home for salvage operations to begin.

    What do you do?

You fill out a Big Shaman BP.

On top is a rail with a few mass enhancers, making towing a possibility for damaged ships.

With large suite of support and salvage capabilities available, room for passengers and a little bit of RP playfulness, the Big Shaman is not only useful for aiding in actual repairs, but invaluable in helping to make light of a bad situation, improving morale.

It has two fairly sizable salvage arrays, good repair beams, rapid-fire pull cannons and a little push pulse weapon to help clear dead fighters and/or turret debris from a work area, similar to it's little brother.

However, what makes this craft special, are the addition of a slightly modified Journey Bike carried at the rear for pilots stranded on a planet as well as massive power and shield beams.

Though Big Shaman is capable of lifting out of a planetary gravity well, the bike is simply safer and faster, with a few wedges added to the outside for multiple pilots to sit on if necessary.

With the auxiliary power turned on, the Big Shaman's single power beam can deliver a whopping 648,960 power per .5 second tic of firing without dropping the radar jammer. You can just hold down the button.

The rear half of the craft are where the auxiliaries are housed. Do a 'Remove and Replace' with shield capacitors and rechargers and you'll have a variant with enough shields to properly use the two shield charger beams which each provide 100,060 shields to the target per .5 second tic of firing.

Of course in the event one can dock the Shaman to the larger ship or structure, it can deliver the full measure of it's power generation capacity via rail, making ongoing repair efforts at stations a little easier and maybe give your buddy the jump-start he needs to get his monster home.

It only has a sketch of an RP interior, but there's a bit of room to flesh it out. There is no camera, but I've never found it necessary to install one as the core view is so clear:

The lights DO flash. Tied to a button on your hotbar.

I hope you enjoy tinkering with it. I've only ever had occasion to use it once since deciding to build it's original version, but riding to the rescue always feels cool. Lol

A great and useful vessel, KB Cosmos would love to purchase some of your Shamans, both big and little.

I'm glad to hear you like them!

While decorated with a little whimsy, I prefer my ships to actually do what they're meant to and serve a particular need.

I haven't seen too many support craft posted, so I decided to throw my BPs in to help people out. Most of the time you don't need them, but when you do, you REALLY need them. lol

I don't know how many times I've seen people on servers and videos having to throw a support vessel together on the fly and from scratch. I've done so myself, for that matter. So I sought to fill that hole in my BP catalog with a couple of easily modifiable chassis.

I hope they serve you well. :)
