Well. I still hold that handmade builds trump EVERYTHING.

But my god. You just made it easy to make some nasty lagships.

    Fantastic lol

    Yes.

    We know.

It's just simply inefficient on large ships.
Wrong, it's not efficient on ANY ship ;) . It never was, either. The whole thing was just to see how much could be crammed into a 5x5x5 space, this was never meant to power ships. @MrFuz

@tenk11kamikaza the reason people are having problems with .rar is because .rar is specifically for winrar, on the other hand .zip does not require any additional programs

But there is a cost-free "unrar" in Manjaro and Ubuntu repros at least.
Why do you not use .tar.gz or .tar.bz2 archives? :p And don't forget about the .tar.lzma, .xz .lzo .lrz .cpio or .arj archives :D

How? is there a better option,i just find that setup to be better though please tell me if there is a better way.
Larger cube reactors, or framing your ship with power-blocks. Framing can give you more recharge but if it's build without redundancy a couple of lucky shots can cripple your power. As for Cube Reactors, you're focusing your power generation in one location that can be exploited.

Or just long lines power throughout the ship. Usually works quite well.

I look for power, not durability. Furthermore I put 3-10 blocks of armour around vital areas such as computers ,core, and power so it will not be easy to "cripple" it.

    Thank you based schema!

If your listening could we also get togglable odd-symmetry mode for individual plans of symmetry. No more having to force players to make things in either multiples of 3 or 2!

How do you copy multiple blocks at once? I can't copy more than one block at a time.

You can use the advanced build mode sliders to increase the size of placement, removal, copy, and paste of blocks. Really useful when building Big Stuff(tm)

Very interesting the concept of modular building ships like this. Certainly something to have a go at. ;-)
Forgive my ignorance, but am I correct in supposing you just start like creating any other ship with a core and pressing X to put it in the game and create a template of your choice?

EDIT: Oh well, that indeed seems the way to do it, the word template made me think there was more involved here. <g>
One wonders though what happens if the template contains more then a shop has in store block wise...

    Greets,
