    So I think missile-mini-guns have reached their limit, I present the missile/cannon/cannon/cannon/cannon... ...logic gun:

    64 missiles per second because the best way to beat PD is to fire 6 times faster than it!

    I believe 128 missiles/s is definitely possible and 256 missiles/s is theoretically possible.
    I Love This!!! Would a download possible so we could see the logic? though I think I have a relative idea of how it works, just not familiar enough with the new rail system yet to be sure.

    sorry for my very late timed reaction!
    but i have a really good reason and you will go: "aaaah now i get it"
    i was sucked up into the faction habit and got banned for flaming, caution, factions have huge influence.
    so now i am back to say: AWESOME! super awesome lift thingy you made! exactly what the way i suggested!
    for your problem, the double code, i have a solution.
    simply use an and gate lock, now ofcourse, you dont want to make about 10,000 and gates to cancle out any double lawl.
    just a few, the most likely to happen codes, e.g. 1111, 2222, 1234, 2345. such codes.
    just put an and gate, with the combination and tada, when the and gate activates, it will say no!
    an other possible to test solution is, some etra memory cells, near the put in code part. and then use most common codes lock.
    should reduce it a lot

    anyways, could you make a different version of that one?
    with these abilities:
    compact
    no reload, shoots non-stop
    a bit slower fire rate would make it easyer.
    a trigger to turn it on and of from our hotbar, it would make a perfect missile/small ship wrecker.

    too bad it will probably never have a good use, as you probably don't need 2+ players in such small jets.
    great system though, i just wish you could effectivly use it, as in, something in game features has to change.

    Hypothetically, if I were to make something like that, but as lock-on and explosive, and, hypothetically, put it on a turret, could ai use it?

    3. as i wont be able to use your mech, i can still give you ideas and help you!
    so this is my idea, with that last design, can you try using cannons, they go so fast that a limit is hard to reach, you may have just invented the first real machine gun that exualy fires fast!

    so i check the pictures at download, it looks really cool, only you can see some colour difference at the top because of the shade glitch :(
    if i could make cool ships i might considered to take this as a turret design, but i cant make good ships :P

    I don't have a gif (or hosting site,) but I have a ship that uses a similar layout. It has a line of launchers down either side of the ship that fire continuously in an alternating pattern. I'd compare it to the chaff system on modern warplanes. I used EMP modules for mine to avoid causing any ally damage, but I don't know if that would cause Trade Guild ships to go red or not. My trigger mechanism is a rail connector riding along a track and setting off the missiles, which allows me to vary the speed of the cycle.

    Very nice can you actually make the barrels fire and rotate?
    You can make the barrels fire although I faked that with the weapon systems being aligned to them on the main body. Rotating is not possible. Next version :D
